At the break of dawn Julian is awakened by a sudden movement in his room. If he was a normal person he wouldn't be able to feel such minimal movement but from years of training and experience his senses are heightened.
After making sure that he still looked like he was in deep sleep, he tried to point out the exact location of the said intruder. After a few seconds, he finally pin pointed where exactly, eight feet away and is angled about seventy degrees to his left.
It didn't move for a good two minutes but the moment that Julian felt the intense aura charging towards him, he instinctively pulled the gun placed just above his head and didn't think twice about pulling the trigger.
The gunshot wakes everyone else in the main house in an instant. As the servant's house is located a few meters away from the main house their helpers didn't hear the gunshot at all.
The gunshot startled Jin, swiftly collecting her bearing, she immediately reached for her gun under her pillow.
Calling or having the authorities involved is not a priority as they tend to deal with things or handle matters their own way, besides this place is very exclusive for robbers to dare come so if there is an intruder it is most likely with one purpose only, and that is none other than to kill them.
She dashed towards her door with agile speed to locate where the gunshot originated from but the moment she opened the door someone kicked the gun off her hand.
Seeing that her attacker is about to throw another kick she dodges the incoming attack catching her attackers' feet but to her surprise her attacker's reflex is as fast as hers, flawlessly flipping its body to kick her with its other feet.
She reacted just in time, immediately letting go of her attackers' feet to avoid the full force before it could hit her directly in the face.
It was at this time when Jazz finally came out from her room holding a gun as well. Seeing Jin engage in combat she immediately aimed her gun at the intruder only to be interrupted when Julian was flung across her making her lose her balance and ungracefully hit the floor.
As Julian's opponent is coming towards them she instantly rolls to trip it over with force, catching the twins fighting another intruder at the corner of her peripheral.
Once back with her two feet, she helps Julian up. "You okay?" she asked.
"I'm good, just caught off guard how about you?"
"I'm okay, you think you can handle this one?" Jazz looked at the intruder that is already on its way of recovering and looked towards Jin who is being pushed back near the stairway by her own opponent one wrong step and she could fall down the stairs. That's going to be a hard fall for sure.
Julian saw this as well. "Yeah, go help her out." He instructed and pushed Jazz away seeing that his opponent was about to launch another attack.
Jazz wasted no time and grabbed the left shoulder of Jin's opponent facing it towards her and directly punching it to its face. Their assailant staggered for a moment but immediately recovered.
Observing this Jazz and Jin believe that their attackers aren't ordinary. The punch that Jazz just threw a while ago is strong enough to put a regular person into a deep sleep.
They both look at each other and immediately know how they should deal with this opponent of theirs.
The twins, on the other hand, are busy trying not to get slash or stab by a knife, their opponent is quite skilled with handling one and quite frankly it's annoying.
Though it seemed cool to watch fight scenes with the fighters having visible cuts in movies, in real life, man it is no fun fighting with multiple cuts unless you are numbed to pain.
"Seriously what is your purpose and who sends you guys?" Jake asked for the nth time already but their opponent refuses to utter a single word.
The three intruders are all wearing a black full on face mask and are clad with black clothing with no skin showing, not even a little spot making it impossible to even get a hint of their identity.
This further confirms that these people are not ordinary killers. They could pass as elite class assassins.
In the process of dodging another attack from their opponent Jake saw the gun that was dropped by Jazz earlier, he tried to dive for it but was met with a sharp kick on his left abdomen.
"F**********..." He couldn't help but cursed our loud. He sure is going to have a bruise on that part of his body by tomorrow that is, if he manages to live through the night.
With this Jaden has to cover for him for a while as the kick is strong enough to flung him a good meter away from them.
Though they are used in this kind of situation their body isn't immune to pain but again that doesn't mean they won't fight back anymore they are trained to endure various kinds of pain as long as they could still fight.
Barely dodging another attack, Jaden found an opening from the attackers' stance. He immediately grabbed the hand holding the knife, twisting it as hard as he could, causing his opponent to drop the said weapon.
What he didn't anticipate is the retaliation from his opponent, he braces himself for the incoming punch but Jake is faster in kicking their attacker's left feet first, causing both their attacker and Jaden to lose balance.
Before the latter could even collect his momentum he was pushed aside by his opponent. Strong enough that he is unable to stop himself from colliding on the wall.
"Arrrrghhhhh... " He could help but whimper from the impact.
Julian's opponent, on the other hand, has a very unique way of fighting making it hard for him to execute a proper attack as he is busy playing defense. He was used to being able to predict his opponent's next attack and is able to counterattack it even before they can even do anything but with his opponent today all its movements are unorthodox. Like it knows what he knows and what he was about to do, thus it will change its attack for the last second startling Julian.
"Who are you and what do you want?" Julian asked through grinned teeth having blocked another powerful kick from his opponent but just like the twins opponent, he didn't utter a single word no matter what he asked.
After a while, they all feel like they are fighting for an eternity already when in fact it has just been less than twenty minutes.
It just so happens that their opponents are good fighters just like them or maybe even better.
It's not for too long when they finally feel the exhaustion taking over their body, when they felt like they're about to collapse a familiar voice echoes through the third-floor corridor.
"Alright, that's enough."
The five of them were stunned by the man's voice.
