Jackson panicked as he looked up.
"Hello, Jackson," a familiar voice said in French.
"What's this?" Jackson asked as he glared curiously at the man that he thought he successfully befriended.
It was Remy Durand's henchman.
"I'm sorry for surprising you, Mr. Wu," the French man said.
"You see, Mr. Durand is very particular about the people he works with."
The man then put down a case of tools in front of Jackson.
"A few days ago, we were approached by one of your competitors. As expected, everyone wants to work with Mr. Durand. But, as you know, Mr. Durand only works with the best," the man smiled.
He then continued, "So, to pick the best, Mr. Durand thought of a way to test the two of you. He asked your competitor to build a bomb..."
"This bomb is currently strapped to your body!" the man pointed to Jackson's vest.
