After arriving back at her hotel room, Halia poured a cup of tea for her father and calmly explained the misunderstanding between her and Emerson. "Dad, I have a boyfriend, but it's not Emerson. Give me some time, I will introduce you to him later," Halia said.
Father Feng looked at his daughter worriedly and sighed, "Ever since that one boyfriend in high school, I've never seen you with a man again."
"Precious, can you be honest with me? I've heard rumors about you and Natalie. If they're true, you can just tell me; I am very open-minded. After all, I've always treated Natalie as my own daughter and Pumpkin as my own grandson," the old man said.
Halia shook her head and laughed, "No, I'm very much in love with a man. A very manly man, in fact. Someone that's righteous, brave and heroic. I'm sure you will approve of him."
