Two ays past, and Crystal started getting more comfortable and learnt new things. On a Wednesday afternoon, Andrew came out from the room with his bag. "Where are you groing to dad?", Lily turned away from the TV her and Crystal we're watching. "Not me... we! We're going shopping!".
"yeah yeah and yeah yeah yeah yeah !!!", Lily hopped up and held Crystal's hand, "you finally gonna see the town today Crystal come on let's go!", she started pulling Crystal's hand, making her to get up.
"I call shotgun!!"
"No way young lady you're not gonna sit in front you were too young and it's dangerous!"
"But daddy why???"
"thats an order don't argue"
"okay okay okay daddy I won't argue ...after all I know you just wanna sit in front with Crystal", she waved her hands in the air and giggled.
"hey!! quiet or else you will stay home!", Lily giggled and walked up to him and held his hand.
He then turned and looked at Crystal who was facing down and feeling very shy to say anything. "Let's Go!".
Lily sat in the passenger seat, while Crystal and her dad up front. "What kind of music do you want?", Andrew asked looking at the view mirror.
"Rock and Roll baby!!!", she yelled and jumped.
"Okay seatbelts on, and let Rock. And. Roll!", he started the car prepared to zoom off, when he noticed Crystal sat still without her seatbelt.
"Dad you'll need to help her".
He sighed and switched off the car, then moved up close to Crystal, who's stare locked her stare on the slippers Lily gave her.
As his hand cane close to her waist, he felt a strong urge, he couldn't understand why, but then memories of her naked beautiful body started to run through his mind. He didn't move an inch from her, but just felt the urge to be close, he felt his body tingle downwards. 'Whats wrong with me!!! why do I feel like this?...', he argued in his mind.
"Daddy? are you buckling the belt, or is the belt buckling you!!??... why is it taking so long", Lily stomped her feet, knocking Andrew back to sense, realizing he'd been in that position for minutes.
"Oh...um..", he quickly buckled the belt and moved back to his seat blushing. 'Why Andrew!! what are you acting like you've never been close to a woman before!', he slapped his forehead and started the car.
As they drove off, Lily spotted a black thin figure standing inside by the window stood watching them carefully, but as the breeze blew the curtains over it, it disappeared.
In the local market, Lily held both Crystal and Andrew's hands, feeling like she was walking with her mum and dad together. They stopped at a fruit vendor, and Andrew let go of her hand, to pick some fruits, and bargain with the vendor. Crystal just stood there with her head as usual, facing the ground. Lily got board of standing waiting for her dad to have a long session of price range exchange with the vendor.
"Daddy...?", she tugged his shirt.
"Not now honey...", he turned back to the vendor still exchanging words. Lily squeezed her hands together and took a look around.
"Pissss!"
She heard a sour voice from the crowd, which drew her attention, she looked around to see who was it was, then heard it again.
"Piss! over here!", she looked between two large veggies shops and saw someone with a grey cloth over her head, and wearing rags. She looked closely and realized it was a woman, who was covering her face with rags.
"Come", she said in an old cracky voice. She lifted her hand and gestured to Lily to come closer. "Me?", Lily pointed herself doubtfully.
"Yesss...", the lady nodded her head slowly and started to walked backwards. It didn't occur to Lily, how in a loudly place as the local market, she could hear someone with such a low tones voice call her from a distance.
"Hey!", Lily yelled out as she ran towards her direction. Crystal turned and saw Lily running. "Lily?", she whispered and slowly started walking in her direction.
Lily ran after the woman, who seem to be very fast, all she was seeing was the woman's cloth. She followed the lady into the blacksmith section.
"Hey lady!", Lily yelled as she panted, but the lady didn't stop, she still kept running deeper into the market. She ran into a huge garage, filled with old used and rusted machine parts, and Lily followed. Lily stood at the door and noticed the woman standing and facing the wall, she could only see her back.
" Ma'am?", Lily bit her lower lips and moved closer. The lady still stood still without a single word.
"Regina est in domum suam".
The lady by wall said in same cracky dry voice. "Are you lost ma'am?", Lily came closer, about a feet away and stretched her hand to hold the woman's clothe, as she touched her cloth, it fell unto the floor.
Lily eyes widen and chills ran down her spine, to see nothing. She looked down at the cloth, which she saw woman was wearing, but now, there was nothing beneath. She became incredibly scared and frighten, and turned around, feeling a cold breeze from behind.
"Hello!", she yelled out and took a step back unto the cloth on the floor.
***Cick!
She felt her foot step on something under the cloth. She turned and bent down. "Huh?", she pick up beautiful charm bracelet, colored silver with small silver beads on it. She looked closely at the bracelet and noticed some writing on it, but they were too little for her to see properly. She glanced at the bracelet again contemplating whether to take it or not. 'Its pretty... I always wanted a charm bracelet, but daddy never got me one', she thought to herself.
"LILY!!!", she heard her father's voice shout from behind, and out of fear, she thrusted the bracelet in to her gown's pocket.
"What are you doing here!!!! why did you leave!!!", he stomped over to her with Crystal right behind him.
"How many times have I told you never to wonder around!!?"
"But dad... there was a--"
"ENOUGH!!! if it wasn't for Crystal, who saw you running away, I would have lost my mind looking for you!".
"But dad--"
"Shut up! Come here!", He roughly grabbed Lily's hand and pulled her out. Crystal stood behind looking down feeling sad she put Lily into trouble with her dad. As Andrew pulled her out of the garage, Lily started to cry.
Due to the fact that Lily's mum died at child birth, Andrew raised Lily as a single father, but they were more of best friends, so Andrew hardly ever yelled at Lily, because they always had a mutual understanding, but the fact he yelled at her and also dragged her to the car roughly, Lily cried more than ever. Andrew and Lily were in front, Crystal turned and looked at the grey cloth on the floor. She didn't know why, but something about the cloth on the floor gave her a bad feeling, but her thought were cut short when she had to meet up with Andrew and Lily.
