The golden light surrounded her body. It slowly condensed inwards until it warped around her like clothing. Marcus and Amary were looking around for an enemy attack, even the Hydra stared intently at Filia. The light slowly faded and Filia emerged confused as to why everyone was freaking out. Amary stuttered, "Are you... all right?"
Filia nodded, "Yeah, I just gained my class, why?" Nera spoke up, "A normal class up would cause only a halo-like affect, not a column of golden light. What the hell is your class anyway?"
"Heroic Scholar; I can study and create spells... I think. It was given by some powerful being or something." After a long time of them explaining to her, that no, this was not normal, Filia finally became concerned. "Well, can't complain now. The class is bound to my soul. Wish I had a guidebook, though. Skill time!" She gleefully added at the end.

"Wow, I got two new skills for the class. Spell Read and Construction. I can't level it up because it is 'Unique'. My Mana Vision already allows me to analyze spells though. Let's test it." Filia held her palm out and casted a small fire. "[Flame] should be just fine. Looks the same. I see the mana scattering and charging the air particles."
She focused on the spell for several seconds before something appeared. Several blue screens appeared in her vision. 'Wow, so it's a statistics screen. If a simple spell takes a few seconds, how long will a master spell take?'

>Not so useless now am I. I just increased your spell efficiency, hah! It's now more powerful with less mana. I can even tell you how to cast higher level spells, although it will take at least a few hours to analyze such a spell.

'Wow, this system is quite useful. Let's test every spell I know. I only know a hundred or so.' Filia started grining like a madman. Marcus and Amary decided to ignore the help notifications from their devices. There was nothing they could do now to help her system.
A couple hours later Iris woke up. "Huh? Whass hapnin? I feel nice and warm... Filia iss dat you?" Iris, clearly still under the effects of the magic, stumbled over to Filia. Filia walked over quickly to stop him from falling. "Ah, thanks you Filia, you is so nice to meez. I was so sads whem you said I was unmarrigable."
Marcus started recording Iris speaking for later. Filia tried to have him sit on the ground, "Yes, yes, I am very sorry. You are marriable, but we're too young." Iris started smiling, "So, in the future you'll marry me?"
-----‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐------------------
>Aww, Filia is getting married! I gotta get the video from Marcus's device. You have to accept!
-----‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐------------------
Marus and Amary also wanted to see what she does with the sudden proposal. "I'm sorry, we're still too young. Maybe in a few years." She hoped ahe would forget this by tomorrow. "Really, that'szz great I'll remember thziz." He started hugging Filia and giggling before falling back asleep. "We will never tell him what happened. OR show him!"
Sadly, for plot's sake Iris must know. They went to bed, with Marus sharing the video with Amary and the principal. The principal then showed the video to both of their parents. A proposal was still a proposal after all.
The next morning Iris avoided Filia like the plague. 'He remembers, maybe Oknos knows an amnesia spell.' Before she could ask, Iris came up to her. "I'm sorry for what I said please don't take it seriously!"
Filia just brushed it off, "Why would I take it seriously? There's no way you would have a crush on ne anyway." Iris chuckled and agreed before walking off.

>You have the density of a planet.

'Huh, but we're just friends.' Amary went to go console Iris, who was staring at a corner in the cave. Marcus talked to Filia, because he was more straightforward and honest. "You know his confession was honest right? He sees you as a friend, of course, but he also holds other feelings for you." Filia looked disheartened.
"But, what about being friends? What if that goes away. Maybe he was just drunk." Marcus sighed, "He was drunk, but that just lowered his inhibitions. I see the three of you as my friends and I think he does too... Do you know how Amary and I started dating?" Filia shook her head.
"I wasn't the one to confess actually, she was. It was almost two years ago now. She pulled me aside one day and confessed right then and there. I said nothing for a few minutes for the same reasons as you, but I agreed on one condition. The condition was that we all remain friends no matter what happens in the relationship." Filia stood there for a minute taking in the story.
"Oh, and don't tell anyone of this. It was supposed to be a secret." Marcus smiled before walking off.
Filia wondered what to do now. Should she date? Should she turn him down? Ignoring him was also an option.
-----‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐------------------
>Could you like him as more than a friend?
'I don't know.'
>Will you turn him down then?
'I don't know.'
>Will you accept him then?
'I DON'T KNOW! Why do I have to know? Why does this have to be so complicated?'
>Because life won't always be easy, it's alright not to know now. But it isn't right to ignore him. You are stuck in this dungeon for now.
-----‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐---------------------------------‐------------------
Filia tried to think of a solution but couldn't. She decided to at least talk to him. She would not let their friendship fail, no matter if they decide.
