Xiaolang woke up in a bad mood.. again.
Things just didn't seem to be going his way lately. Coming from a wealthy and powerful family, he was used to living an easy life. He was beginning to think that he made the wrong choice when his mother offered him some 'freedom' to do what he wanted.
Since getting that 'freedom', he's been forced to attend school, live life as a commoner with minimal funds, got scolded by the company for his lack of decorum, whatever that meant, and got himself into some twitter war that everyone was denouncing him as the loser! Even his cousin manager laughed at him this morning!

He walked up to the front porch of a cozy looking blue house and pressed the doorbell. A few seconds of hearing the sound of feet scurrying later, someone opened the door.
"You're here!" Yingfei smiled at him brightly and invited him in.
He nodded in greeting to the excited girl. He was a little surprised by her outfit but refrained from showing it on his face. She was wearing clothes somewhat tame in comparison to her usual clothes at school; a normal long pink skirt that reached her ankles and an oversized beige sweater with a giant bear face in the front and a fluffy tail in the back. The words 'Breaking The Bearier' were written on the front of the shirt.
Well, now that he thought of it, the bear sweater was a bit much..
She invited him to sit down in the living room where she had set down some tea and cookies. Xiao Lang couldn't help but look around the humble home. Yingfei was obviously from a well-off family. The house wasn't small but neither was it big and luxurious. However, he couldn't help but feel that it was just right. In comparison to his giant estate back in the South, he couldn't help but feel like this house was more like what a home should feel like.
"I've been making lunch but it's going to be a while before it's ready. So I was thinking we should study first and eat afterwards," Yingfei suggested.
The chocolate haired boy shrugged in response. It didn't matter much to him which came first as long as he got to eat. His wallet had been constantly getting thinner with his unmanaged spending. Getting a meal as payment for a little tutoring was not a bad deal to him.
He started taking out his mathematics text books, exercise books and reference books from their grade. He didn't know how bad Yingfei was so he brought them all just in case. If someone didn't know the real man behind the glasses, they would never believe he was anything but a nerdy boy.
He looked at the girl in question, raising an eyebrow. His face was clearly questioning where should they start.
"Oh!" Yingfei yelped in surprise and scratched her head. "Umm.. I was hoping we would start from the beginning.."
Xiao Lang proceeded to open the first topic learnt in their grade.
"No.." she stopped his hand, startling him. She gazed straight into his eyes for what felt like forever, with her hand still placed on his. The long pause couldn't help but make him feel slightly nervous, his heartbeat racing within his chest. "I meant the beginning of the beginning. The start of high school."
"...What?"
.....
"I get it!" the jet black haired girl exclaimed excitedly. "Haaaaaaaaah. Thanks Xiaolang."
The boy in question sat depressedly at the end of the sofa. You could almost see the gloomy atmosphere surrounding him like a dark fog, contemplating on the decisions he had made and the situation he had somehow gotten himself into... He waved his hand at her, implying 'don't mention it.'
She sweatdropped at his condition. They had been going on for almost two hours and just managed to get through the basics. To her, it could already be considered a miracle! But she couldn't say that he felt the same. "How about we have lunch?" she offered.
Xiaolang's ears automatically perked in response. He immediately stood up as he felt the energy lost slowly seep back into him. He was just about to follow her to the kitchen when she suddenly stopped him.
"Stay here. You're a guest so you should relax.. Besides, you must feel tired from the tor- stress," she coughed lightly. "Make yourself at home. We have a game system if you're interested. It belongs to my oldest brother but he isn't here at the moment.. so it's fine if you use it."
Hearing the words gaming system gave Xiaolang a slight boost in energy. Without waiting for anymore coercing from Yingfei, he immediately walked towards the large screen tv and started fiddling with all the attached equipment.
"Heh. Boys.." Yingfei giggled and headed towards the kitchen.
The gaming system was surprisingly advanced and probably one of the best ones made to date. There were a few VR headsets and custom controllers placed within the glass case to the side which he instantly noticed, prompting him to believe the owner was quite the gamer. He quickly got the surprisingly advanced gaming system online and went through the various games available.

He stumbled upon a game he was well versed in; Trinity Wars Online (TWO). In fact, he was one of their best high ranked players, something not many people knew. He launched the game and skimmed through the saved logs eventually increasing his surprise.
Whoever played the game in this house was actually quite experienced. The player itself wasn't ranked but he or she was pretty high leveled and had completed a considerable amount of quests he himself had no knowledge of. Maybe the only reason the person wasn't famous was due to never participating in the ranked wars. But he was sure if the person made an effort, he or she would get ranked in no time. Maybe the person in question just didn't have a proper team yet?
Xiaolang promptly went to take note of the player's username.
'PeachFuzzYT'.
"Pfft.. What an adorable name.." he muttered under his breath as he held in his laughter.
BOOM!
The front door slammed open.
"FEIFEI!!"
CRASH. The sound of something breaking sounded from the kitchen.
"My annoyance senses were definitely tingling, Feifei!" a tall, dark haired and extremely handsome man waltzed in through the front door. "Either you have an uninvited guest, or there was someone mocking me behind my back! And I'm pretty sure no one dares to do the latter.." he said threateningly.
Xiaolang unconsciously got up from his sitting position in front of the screen. His movements instantly caught the newcomers eye, which prompted him to give the former a menacing glare. They stared at each other in stillness.
Yingfei's hastened footsteps got louder, breaking the dead silence between the two men, and her disorganized figure quickly appeared from the kitchen.
"Big.. Big brother Tao!"
