"So what if it's true or not true?" removing himself from her embrace he turns his body to face Zetian, his face had zero emotions as he looked at her.
"Since the beginning you were never interested…" her head was lowered to avoid making eye contact with Zhang.
Teardrops like warm snowflakes fell down her cheeks in a torrent that she was unable to stop.
Finding her voice to be choked as the sight of the warm grass on the floor starts to become blurry from her wet eyes.
"Can you stop the crying Miss Wu," Zhang had a condescending expression of disgust glancing at the vulnerable girl in front of him, "you look so pathetic and annoying right now."
There was a tingling sensation on her nose as she sobs, feeling like a weak infant bird being forced out into the dangerous world to fend for herself and having to endure numerous coldness alone.
Finally she mustered the strength from this painful experience to mutter an audible sentence, "You were using me all along...like a...tool."
The last word was filled with a tone of regret and wrathful self-hatred for falling for such foolishness.
Hearing her realization made Zhang scoffed and says in a matter of fact way, "Looks like you're not all that stupid after all Miss Wu."
A large cloud passed over the horizon above them blocking the shining sunlight over the grassy surrounding of the forest mountain.
There was soon a touch of icy coldness from the darkness that descended upon the plane.
A sense of coldness for Zetian similar to the frostiness that grows by the seconds in her vulnerable heart locking up again as would a fortress.
Just when she was feeling on top of the world as though she was reaching the bright light in the dark distance, sadly to wake up to an even harsher reality.
Zhang was walking away when he heard a shout from Zetian behind, "Why!!? All the things you told me before...so everything was a lie all along??!"
The forlornness of love was being cut away yet she's still in hesitatitation trying to grab hold of the last straw in front of her with hope and for him a second chance.
"I thought I could play with you a little longer in bed," Zhang says in a comedic manner as though he was learning from a mistake, "who knew you would be so resistant."
The sympathy of a woman in love is safer than a bulletproof vest. But the wrath of a woman betrayed by her love is deadlier than a bomb.
Zhang walked away from Zetian in a carefree kind of way like simply discarding a useless toy that serves him no purpose hereafter.
After all from birth he had every advantage that he wanted from his wealthy family mouthfeed to him without question.
So how could such a 'toothless puppy' ever come back to bite the hand that abandoned it behind in the wild.
From the distance Tony could only watch with disappointment and anger as his fingers cracked into a tight fists.
With her shoulders shaking from all these overwhelming emotions Zetian seems like a lonely plant sprouting on loose soil that could be uprooted by the strong wind that is coming against her this time.
Yet there was a fiery resilience in her eyes that comes from the past pains which she had persevered through.
Seeing her bear alone such a painful experience and not being able to stand up for her at this very moment made Tony sigh with helplessness.
Following Zetian from the gloominess of the mountain terrain Tony walks discreetly behind in the street and watches her being greeted by a maid servant as she enters a rich chinese style manor .
Framed with two large wooden doors in old chinese style with circular handles and the title "Wu Manor" hanging at top. It had the regular kind of gray background walls and dark square tiles layered together on the roof.
Walking up the brick footsteps Tony arrives in front of the entrance door and bangs on them lightly yet with enough strength to produce a knowing sound on the wood with the steel circular handles.
The large wooden door on the right slipped open and revealing the maid servant from before that opened the doors for Wu Zetian looking curiously up and down examining the tall stranger in front of her with suspiciousness and a hint of excitement.
'Who's this gentleman? What a dignified air to the way he holds himself,' she looks expectantly at Tony as he takes out the envelope from the Duke and hands it to her politely.
"Please," Tony said politely as he handed the letter into her hands for her to open to read. "I'm tasked here in the order from Duke Wu."
"Duke Wu!" she was obviously surprised that such a young man whom she had never before seen in the house had such a connection with Minister Wu. "But the Duke's at Chang'An now."
Taking out a thin paper from within she immediately recognized it was indeed the letters of the Duke along with the red stamp at the end that marks his name.
The further she reads along the words the more surprised and wide eyed became of her expression as she takes glances in observation between reading the letter and at the gentleman in front of her.
Finishing reading through she bowed her head low in respect, "Sorry for delaying your time Master Zidu. Forgive this lowly servant for not recognizing Mount Tai(Meaning: High Status Individual)."
"Don't flatter Miss I merely a teacher for Miss Wu," Tony tells her while putting his hands out to support her up from the low curtsy.
