The courtroom was beautifully decorated with red lanterns and the large room had wooden pillars with wooden sculpted dragons rolled around them.
There were a large amount of noises from the music playing inside, in the middle of the room were a group of enchanting female dancers performing for the Emperor.
There were many different cuisines being fitted on the tables like roasted ducks, medicinal soup, and fried mushroom mixed with vegetables.
While the Emperor was watching the hypnotizing movements of the dancers with the Empress Tony walks up to congratulate, "May Father live forever and ever."
"Get up Zi Long," Emperor Taizong commands with joyous cheer.
"This is my special present for you Father," Tony says, unlocking the wooden box taking out a flintlock pistol inside.
The other guests in the court look with interest at the gift that Tony took out to present to the Emperor.
"What is this new toy," a Chancellor on the side asks curiously.
"I have never seen such a weird wood tool," General Xue in black ropes comments.
"General Xue this is not a wood tool," Tony explains while demonstrating the pistol, "instead it is a weapon."
"A weapon? Never in my years have I seen anything like this," General Xue laughs at this 'crude tool'. "Even a kitchen knife can do better."
The other people at the table also laughed along seeing the childish invention from wood.
"If you say so General Xue," Tony replies back calmly, "Father may I have the pleasure to demonstrate to you its power?"
Emperor Taizong observes the weapon his young boy is holding and nods in agreement for him to continue.
Holding the flintlock pistol Tony walks to the doorway and shouts to a servant outside carrying a bullseye wooden post.
As the diners in the room quietened for the intriguing show the servant outside moves the post 50 yard away to the middle outside.
Everyone observes Tony inserting a type of black powder inside the barrel chamber, and additionally putting inside a steel ball.
They watch as they watch the child prince lower the 'wood tool' horizontally till the barrel points straight at the bullseye 50 yards away.
Boom
There was an electrifying sound that rings in everyone's ear as Tony clicks on the trigger on the flintlock pistol.
From the distance the noise was like that of a lightning strike hitting the Daming Palace, a shock that is strange and powerful.
Their bodies all freezed up as they watch to see a thin layer of smoke rising from the chamber and the smell of gunpowder in the air.
"It's the work of God!!"
"The prince summoned lightning upon the mortal realm!"
"What just happened?!!!"
General Xue stood up from his chair in shock as he noticed in the distance a hole in the wooden bullseye, "How could this be?!!"
Holding the flintlock pistol in his hand Tony walks to where the Emperor is sitting and places it back in the gift box carefully.
"I hope Father will appreciate this gift," Tony says respectfully in a graceful bow.
"Long'er what is this godly weapon," Empress Zhangsun asked her child with hints of fear in her eyes.
"Mother it's a weapon similar to bow and arrow," Tony replies, "except it can bring about greater ease and power."
He motions with his hand to the wooden post in this distance with a hole shot through the middle.
��Prince may the subordinate know how it is forged," Chancellor Li asks.
"The construction process is not difficult," Tony explains all the nobles and generals stretch their ears listening, "though the creative part is the gunpowder used to provide its power."
Everyone starts gossiping in the courtroom about what is this new 'gunpowder' that the prince mentions.
"Have you heard of this 'gunpowder' thing?"
"No. It must be the Prince's new invention."
"What a marvelous creation, this thing called gunpowder!"
"Gunpowder?" Chancellor Li questions.
"Yes. It's a type of black powder similar to those used for making fireworks," Tony explains like it was an obvious matter.
"Fireworks!!" Chancellor Li's eyes were wide open with surprise at this marvelous idea for the pistol's power. "This is simply a genius idea!!!"
Even General Xue was taken back as he heard that the power source was the same for fireworks, 'No wonder there was such a loud thunderous sound!!'
"Father this weapon will make our army into the strongest strength in the world," Tony tells the Emperor with absolute assurance.
"Not only so," Chancellor Li adds, "the power harnessed will be unimaginable!"
"Zi Long this is a great gift!" Emperor Taizong tells Tony as he holds the gift box in his hands like holding an unprecedented valuable treasure from the heavens.
All the guests in the room got on the floor and kowtows in fear, "Long live the Dynasty!"
Forever this day will be remembered as the time when the gears of history started moving in motion at an unforeseeable speed.
As there is no greater invention to the fighting of war which contributes such a change as that which is held in the hands of the Emperor's hands.
For the years to come Tony has joined his Father in fighting numerous wars across the lands.
At first the Emperor was still not certain to hand the commanding power to a young child; however, by his side Tony has given numerous insights that changed the course of battles.
At the age of 7, Tony was handed under his command over 100,000 soldiers that used pistols in addition to numerous other weapons.
With the combined force of the entire dynasty Tony grew the territory of the Tang dynasty to what will become modern china.
At the age of 8, Tony rode his large army into both India and Japan and conquered their territories with ease.
Facing the oncoming of the large numbers of modern bombs that could easily crumble a whole mountaintop none had the courage to stand up to fight.
However, these happy times were not all so easy going as one day Tony finds a messenger delivering bad news as they rode back to the capital.
