Taking a warm bath she quickly got into her pajamas and sat on her bed. Hugging a fluffy stuffed animal with a smile on her face, 'Maybe Woohyun...Likes me? Could it be?'
It was like watching a familiar scene in a movie where a character decides confusedly about love. Flipping between a definite yes and no.
'At times like this, turn to the internet,' Jugyeong took out his flip phone and posted her question on a teen forum:
~Hey, it's me :( So there's this hot guy at my school who's a celebrity. I have pretty average looks but he's super nice to me. So today at the comic shop, we met and we got into a conversation and I can feel this connection between us. Do you guys think he likes me?
Quickly there were notifications of commitments on her post on the forum:
~Maybe this guy you're into is super friendly towards people and doesn't judge them based on their looks. So he's trying to get to know you.
'Is that it? Woohyun is just trying to know me,' in a thinking pose she considers this comment.
~LOL Yeah he's probably treating you like a fan.
~Maybe he actually finds who you are genuinely interesting. And begins to like you! Haha. But there's 0% chance with a hot celebrity.
'Nah...N-No way…' Jugyeong touches her hot cheeks. She definitely deleted that last part of the comment.
~Is he usually so nice with other girls? You sure he doesn't treat everyone like that?
~Interesting post! Hahaha! Keep me updated. LOL
As Jugyeong closes off her phone she thinks of the many memories in the past. Especially when her phone battery was dead and she could hear the people on the bus gossiping about her looks:
"Dude that's harsh" "I almost pissed myself"
'Shoot my battery is dead,' Jugyeong was on the bus with a red striped t- shirt and a short denim jacket.
"Dude, check out the girl in front of us...Damn, what an ugly cow! Haha!" Whispered some guy sitting behind her.
"Damn! She might hear you," saids his friend.
"Who cares? I'm just stating the truth here! Heh Heh!" Joked his friend back.
These kinds of things happen a lot to her. So she's already pretty used to it on a daily basis. Looking at a mirror, 'I need to face reality. Woohyun is just nice, he would never bat an eye at a girl like me.'
The next day was sitting on a chair outside the comic shop reading some mangas she just bought. Seeing her sitting alone reading her comics Tony approached her.
"Hello," Tony waves at Jugyeong up close since she's deeply plugged into her music as she reads.
Plugging out her ear buds she smiled in excitement at Tony, "Woohyun! You're walking the dog again."
"Yeah I was patrolling this area. Here I got something for you," he hands her a cardboard bag and quickly walks off into the night.
'For me?' What's this? A comic book…?' She gasped as she looked to make sure it was the right title, 'Wait a minute...This is the newest "Naruto" volume" that hasn't even been out yet...autographed too!!"
Inside was a written sticky note tagged to the back of the cover:
-This is the newest copy of Naruto that hasn't been out yet till the end of the month. I'd like to do a little favor since you're such a fan yesterday ;).
Jugyeong was deeply touched by receiving this awesome gift from his idol, 'OMG! I can't believe how thoughtful Woohyun is!'
The next day at school Jugyeong finally was able to get a chance to thank Tony for the gift yesterday when she followed him to his hideout on the school rooftop during lunch. There were just so many fans wanting to get to know the mysterious writer.
"Juggyeong! You finally came," he said as she entered the door to the rooftop. Tony already predicted a while ago that with her nature she would try to find him to express her gratitude.
"Thank you so much for the comic," she said while bowing to Tony.
"No prob, I did have a copy laying around from the publishing house," he said in an easy going way so she won't feel like she owns him anything.
She glanced up from her bowing to see him with a steel box with a couple mantous. Immediately licking her lips at the delicious food he's eating, trying not to drool in front of her idol.
'I bet they are delicious,' licking her lips as she feels the hunger in her stomach.
Tony then picks one of the bigger mantous and hands it to her, "My treat."
"Wow this is delicious!" Handling the mantou as though it was some kind of gold bar and taking a small bite.
"I'm glad you like my cooking," smiling as he watches her slowly tasting the food with care.
"Wait! You cooked it!!" This veggie mantou is like one of the most awesome things she ate this year. She got fed up with her mom's cooking and the school snacks a while back.
'I can't believe my idol even knows how to cook,' she gasps in disbelief inside, 'Not only can he write and draw, he can also make such treats!!"
Tony can only look at her admiring eyes that are seemingly glowing with a small grin. It's not really that difficult to learn some basic cooking.
Especially since he always loves to help out in the household whenever he can.
"Woohyun...How can I pay you back," she asks with a sincere concerned look upon her face.
"Hmmm...So you really want to pay me back," he leans up close in front of her with an evil glance.
"What are you thinking! Of course not that kind of favor," she crosses her arms in front of her task in defence, "Not even if you're my idol!"
"Haha. You're too funny Jugyeong," he giggles seeing her weird cautious eyes. Soon returning to a more calmer tone, "Come with me to the movies."
"Huh? The movies??"
"Uh huh, they are premiering "The Titanic" at the theatre this weekend," he said, shaking his shoulders.
"T-The Titanic!! No Way!" Jugyeong screams with excitement pumping her fist in the air, "I heard all the tickets were already sold out within 2 hours. I really wanted to see it, the trailer was awesome!"
"Well I'm the writer for the book and the script. So it was pretty much handed to me," he giggles at how she can be so easily impressed.
