For the next couple months Duke again took a leave of absence to complete. And train intensely in America with Hong where Duke's boxing manager planned for 4 fights. This time he's competing with more experienced fighters, so he couldn't do as much despite his body's quick recovery ability.
To prepare for the fights he trained non-stop in the American gyms. And every moment besides working out and sleeping is spent working on his foundational techniques.
After finishing the fights, Duke and his boxing team held a huge celebration. And for the last week Duke also finishes up the touches on some pre-recorded songs which he proceeded to use for his new album.
This time he decided to add some of Drake's most popular singles like "God's Plan", "Sicko Mode", and "Hotline Bling". Meanwhile he also did some collaborations with other artists for Rihanna's song "Work", "What's My Name?". Due to the popularity of his last album many famous artists are competing to collaborate with Duke.
Soon it's spring and time for a new school year and new semester! Sitting on the plane coming back to Korea, Duke is excited to see how everybody has grown. Stepping out from the plane Duke is greeted by a bunch of paparazzis and fans.
Their screaming and shouts were loud and Duke couldn't hear anything in specific except his name. While there were also the flashing lights of camaras. Duke waves at his fans with a smile while walking off quickly.
"Boy you sure is popular with the ladies,"said Hong looking at all the fangirls holding signboards.
"Man, how do you even get used to this?"Ask one of the guys.
"Well you don't," said Duke shaking his head. Now his mission completion has already reached over 90% and is now at 94% with the sale of his new album last night.
Coming to school the next morning Duke is walking with Daniel who is wearing the fancy clothes that Jay gives him. The girls are aghast at the two most popular guys in the school. Along with some blushed cheeks from their excitement.
"OMG look it's Duke and Daniel. So hot!"
"Nice body. That single "Monster" is so popular right now."
"Duke's even hotter in real life." Due to the increased Soul Power not only adjusted Duke's body composition. Additionally it made his spirit stronger hence there's this outstanding presence about him.
Duke smiles at all the girls who are rushing towards them for autographs, 'Can't help thinking what this new year will have for us.'
As always the students are sleeping in class during the speech that's broadcasting on the TV.
"Life, when I was your age…" Said the half bald man speaking on the TV.
"Don't yet? Fuck!"
Then the screen is suddenly replaced with images of a pornographic scene by a hacker at the school. "Oh Baby!" "Yesss!"
"What the heck?" "WOOOW" "Hahaha"
Duke shook his head at all the fuss in this brand new morning. Face palming at the amusement created by the genius hacker Kouji from the computer department.
Aside from that there's also another huge problem: Jay's sister Joy Hong has now joined the school. She is a freshman with a beautiful smile and hair similar to Yui's but has a bang.
"We go to the same school now. Daniel <3!!" Said Joy getting pretty close to Daniel. "I'm also a big fan of your work Duke, can you please sign my autograph," Joy pleaded with puppy eyes.
Daniel is still a little weird out by the intimacy. Looking at Crystal who he's interested in to make sure she doesn't misunderstand. While Duke could only comply with a sigh.
Nonetheless a new beautiful girl in the fashion department also causes a huge stir in the classroom. Especially with Zoe who's putting on her guards in case Joy might be up to something Duke.
Seeing their happy faces Duke also felt a little bit of joy in his heart. However, this might not be such an easy year for Daniel. Logan, the bully from his other school has arrived here too.
Logan has a big body that's absolutely massive for his age. Even though he's only 15 he already has tattoos all over his body. Moreover is an excellent brawler that terrorized his other school.
Right during lunch Longan dumped his tray of food on Mira's head to try to start a fight. Everybody in the cafeteria looked shocked at what he had done. Seeing if Zack is going to lose his cool.
"Are you hurt," Zack said with concern as he got some napkins to clean away the food mess on her head.
"Um. No!" Mira replied.
"Hey can you take Mira to the bathroom. Since I can't go in there." Zack said. After taking care of the concern, Zack suddenly punches straight into Logan's face. Along with a bunch of quick jabs that made Logan look like a punching bag in front of everyone.
Logan tried to grab hold of him but was too slow, "Did a baby mosquito bite me? Buzz Buzz. Shall I kill it?"
"His defense is unreal. Good then I can pummel you some more." Said Zack raising his fist in a stance ready to attack, "I can't put up with you bother mira."
Logan then hit a powerful body blow to the solar plexus that is blocked by Zack with a cross defense, What now? I'll beat you some more." All of a sudden lunges at Zack like a wrestler and grabs him up from the ground then throws him on the ground.
As he was about to pour a tray of food on Zack who's weak on the ground a hand suddenly gripped his arm. Duke looked straight at him and released an intimidating presence, "What do you think you're doing?"
'Who's this guy?' Logan thinks to himself, obviously not recognizing him. Then with his other hand he slaps at Duke.
Before his hand even reached mid-distance to his face Duke already launched an arching uppercut that made Logan stumble to the ground slightly stunned. And he had to put some strength into standing back up again.
Duke never allows his opponents even a moment of breathing space. His motto towards his opponents is 'To help my opponent is to hurt myself'. Following that Duke quickly followed the uppercut with a leaping hook as Logan tried to stand up.
It was so strong it even knocked a couple teeths out. Lastly Duke combined it with another small uppercut that launched Logan on the ground blacked out.
"Duke is strong." "Don't fight with Duke, you'll only get beaten."
Vasco arrived on the scene to see how quickly Logan was beaten like a pulp on the ground. Shocked at his amazing strength despite knowing Duke's prowess. Even Zack looks amazed at the strange classmate who stood up for him.
"He tried to slap him, he deserves it." "OMG so cool!!"
