Chapter 4 - Hottie- I mean Ryder

Ryder drove us to his house, he said I was too startled to go back home. Bear and Hunter stayed quiet, they probably didn't want to explain what happen.

Ryder picks me up and Bear grabs my backpack out the car. "Calm down." Ryder whispers and let Hunter come unlock the door. I calm myself and Ryder puts me on the couch, "I'll be right back." They all go to the kitchen and start talking. "Ryder, we can't let Brianna go home. She's scared, we have to take care of her." Bear says.

"I'm not letting her go home yet, she needs to calm down. I don't want her to be afraid of us." I felt his heartbreak into pieces as he finished that sentence.

"Ryder's right, she'll be afraid. We have to take care of her." Hunter says, he sounded sad.

"It's not safe, she's already unsafe. We started war with Steven's gang and now whatever they do is going to be done to Brianna. The war is going to be between her and them."

"You don't think I know that! I don't want her at home, her sister's slept with all of them and would be quick to set her up." Ryder said.

I didn't hear the rest, I fell asleep as soon as I laid down on the couch. What did they mean the war? Why was I gonna get hurt? Why would I start a war between a gang?

I woke up in a bedroom, I had felt Ryder pick me up and put me somewhere more comfortable last night. I got up and smelled someone cooking, Ryder's house was big so I kind of had to find the smell.

I see Ryder in the living room. " Good morning."

He turns around, "Good morning, babe. Bear is cooking breakfast, you can go eat."

I had just noticed and my face probably changed faster than it should have. Ryder didn't have a shirt on, he was walking around with gray nike sweatpants and his Calvin Klein showing. He was reading this book and he couldn't of looked hotter, I think I was ready to die.

"See something you like, mami?" He says. I shake my head fast, "where's the kitchen?"

He puts to book down and start walking me to the kitchen while holding my hand.

"We have a lot to talk about." His tone got serious and he turned around, "Regarding yesterday."
