An open window and a warm night, the sounds of night life in the distance and a tram rattling it's rails.
A regular night for Vicente, just like any other.
He had gone to sleep late as usual, after watching Tv shows and eating Takeout Pizza after another shift at the Diner.
He wasn't really a remarkable man, no towering stature or shining silver eyes.
He was average in many a sense, born to latino parents who moved to America for a better life and opportunities, dark hazel eyes and darker brown hair, shaved short on the sides and pulled into a knot on top, standing just short of 6ft(1.82m) by a mere centimeter, though he would never admit it.
He was athletic, always had been, the Doctors said that he had the build of a natural athlete, one of the few things that played to his favor as he needed rather little training to stay in shape.
A cold wind blew in from the open window in his room, causing his face to scrunch up a little before relaxing again.
He wore a white tank top and black pajama bottoms with equally black socks.
He had never done anything significant in his life, only gotten average grades and never overachieved, his mother was Psychologist, his father a Nuclear Scientist and Mechanical-engineer.
Two very different professions with diverse schools of thought, he grew up around books and debates, learning to question everything he heard or learned the moment he came into contact with it.
Now for such an average man, with an average story and an average life, who could predict that he would be the cause of raging storms and drastic change?
That in his near future, the world and beyond would be shaped by his actions?
Whatever the answer, his slightly open mouth, ajar window and perhaps a good helping of luck, either good or bad led to a small Bee flying into his home.
The Tv that was left on, casting a dim light on the room, The host of the new broadcast speaking of a Terrorist attack in Tokio that happened last month, a biological weapon used in the subway, reports of civies attacking the Orochi group, the military barring anyone from even getting close.
The Bee quite obviously didn't care, flying through the apartment followed by the soft buzzing of its wings, fluttering about a bit before discovering the open door to Vicente's room and flying in.
It continued its flight towards Vicente before landing on his lip and crawling straight into his open mouth.
