When all of the guests had finally left, the villa turned into silent. The maids around started gathering the glasses and plates but, Daniella stopped them from cleaning the place.
Her husband Evan Su, has been on her side since the explosion. He has been helping her by explaining the situation to the guest.
He followed her as she walked towards the maid. When she heard her saying the words, 'You all can take a week vacation' he knew right away that something is about to happen.
His hand stretched to reach her arm but, before his finger could touch her, Daniella turned to him with a serious expression on her face.
"Don't even try Evan," hearing her serious voice, Evan sighed and took a step back.
His wife barely calls him by his name, and when that happens, it usually means 'You can't stop me'.
"Who will clean the house?" he asked when Daniella ordered the maids and guards the leave the villa.
His wife turned to him, her expression was still serious.
"We have four kids Evan." those were the words that came out of Daniella's mouth before he saw her walking towards the basement.
He was about to follow her when he saw Louisa with Danny standing by the stairs.
"Are you alright?" he asked Louisa.
The girl ran to him and immediately wrapped her hands around his waist. She nodded as a response and looked at the direction of the basement.
"Uncle Evan, I will leave now," Danny politely said and turned to her sister.
He placed a hand on her head and tapped it repeatedly, "Do you want to come with me?" he asked his sister.
The girl took her pad and wrote down, "No, I need to tell mommy that the triplets stole my money'. Danny smiled as he read the words, Louisa surely knows when is the right time to reveal the bad things her siblings did to her.
In the other side, Evan took the pad that Louisa had in her hand and read it. His eyebrow creased in anger when he realized what she meant.
"Are you sure the triplets did this?" he asked to confirm.
The girl looked at him with her lips pouting, she felt as if her father thought she was lying.
Evan's expression became soft, he sighed and ran his finger through her hair.
"Do you want to see how your mother punish your siblings?" he offered.
The girl's face lightened up as she nodded in response.
When Danny left, Evan and Louisa went to the basement but before they could reach the door, they heard Daniella' voice shouting at the triplets.
"GIVE ME ONE REASON NOT TO FREAK OUT RIGHT NOW!"
Then it became silent once again. When Louisa's hand touched the doorknob the next voice they heard was Alexa.
"Mommy, you are freaking out now," she said it in a low voice but Evan and Louisa could still hear it.
The looked at each other as they tried to hold themselves from bursting.
Louisa was curious why her mother didn't respond to Alexa, so she opened the basement door and found her mother squatting on the floor, both of her hands were pulling her hair while her face was buried on her knees.
In the other side, the triplets were just staring at their mother, their knee started to tremble as they watched their mother squatting quietly on the floor.
When the door opened, they all looked at its direction and found their father with Louisa. For a moment, they saw a light of hope, finally, their father could help them to calm their mother but as soon as their father saw how frustrated Daniella was, he ran to her direction and tried to pull her up but, the woman stayed in her position.
She was not making a sound and they could see that she was so stressed by how hard she was pulling her hair.
"Daniella stand up," Evan spoke.
After some minutes, their mother got up. She slowly walked back and forth in front of the triplets with both hands on her hips.
"Oh God! I don't even know where to starts," Daniella exclaimed.
She stopped in front of Ethan and stared at him with disappointment.
"Ethan, why did you call your siblings an idiot? And where did heard that from?" the triplets could sense that their mother was trying to hold herself from shouting at them.
"Well, I heard you calling Uncle Matthew an idiot so I thought it was fine," Ethan replied in a low voice, those words barely escaped his mouth.
Daniella squatted on the floor while Ethan was sitting on the old couch they have in the basement, she held onto his knee and looked straight in his eyes.
"Honey, you misunderstood me. I didn't call him idiot out of expression. I was stating the fact. Your uncle is stupid like really stupid but your siblings are not. So, I don't want to hear you saying that word again understand?" Daniella explained in a calm tone.
Ethan innocently lowered his eyes on his mother's hand and nodded, "Ok, I am sorry, mommy,"
Daniella smiled on him and got up, then she stood a few meters away from them. She leaned against the old and rusty closet they have in the basement and stared at the triplets.
"None of you know this but, we have been spending so much money in the past year," she started.
The triplets have known it, they know how much their parents had spent every time they blow up something, either in their house, school, playground, park, mall or in any places they've been.
But they know that their parents could afford to pay for all the damages, therefore they still kept on doing it.
"So, starting next week. We will live a simple and normal life," she continued.
As the triplet heard those words, they cheered inside. They thought their mother will give them a hard punishment but it turned out, she will only cut their expenses and it was something they can live on.
Then, their mother walked towards the door, before leaving she turned to face them and said, "None of us will have access to your father's money until I say so. No one will ask for your uncle's help. We will live a simple life where you need to clean and cook for yourself, which means there will be no maids."
Everyone in the basement was shocked except Evan, the triplets looked at each other while Louisa started writing on her pad.
When Daniella opened the door, Alexa ran to her direction. She grabbed her mother's wrist and looked at her with her eyes swelled in shock.
"Mom, what do you mean by no maid? Who will cook my bacon?" she spoke in horror.
Every time they were traveling, her mother always brings some maids to accompany them, not to look after them but to prepare their food.
Her mother momentarily looked at her and then diverted her gaze to Leo and Ethan.
"There's no maid that can clean the villa today so we will all need to clean the house except Louisa," mentioning her daughter's name, Daniella turned her face at Louisa's direction with a smile on her lips.
"Darling, you can wash up and sleep." As soon as Daniella said that, Louisa's worried face has lightened up and then she showed to her mother what she had written in her pad, 'Who will cook my breakfast?'
Daniella sighed and then turned to her son, "Your brother will make your breakfast. Now I want everyone to be in the living room, we have a lot to clean," saying that, Daniella left.
"Mommy, what about my bacon?" Alexa has been asking that repeatedly but, her mother kept on ignoring her.
When she saw her father leaving too, she immediately stopped him, "Dad, please at least one maid." she begged but her father only shook his head and left.
Being alone with her siblings, Alexa turned to her brothers, "You will also prepare my breakfast right?" she asked Ethan but the boy shook his head.
"Mommy only mentioned Louisa's name," Ethan replied.
"But," Alexa's emotion was flowing, she doesn't know what to do, in her head, she started imagining herself in front of the hot stove with the oil flying around as she tried to cook her bacon.
When the picture of her skin getting burned by the oil flashed in her mind, her lips parted to say the words, "My bacon, who's gonna cook my bacon?"
