Café 153:
Morning came, the triplets had gone to school while Louisa stayed with her parents in the café. Selena was busy downstairs getting orders ever since they opened. Standing behind the cashier counter Selena raised her chin when the door opened. Upon seeing the familiar figure her lips formed a smile.
"Barney," she called out his name cheerfully.
Barney smiled at her, hands on his sides as he strode towards the counter.
"I am going to work."
Her eyes dropped on his uniform showing the lines of his new rank. She jutted out her hips while narrowing her eyes.
"You didn't need to waste your time and stop by here to tell me that. You could have sent me a text."
Barney gave her a half shrug and a smile. Eventually, he left after getting his order.
Minutes had passed since Barney left when Selena realized that he left his badge on the counter. Shaking her head, she picked it up and rushed outside.
