Evan's arms remained at his side as he waited for the doctor to come out of the emergency room. They had just arrived at the hospital and the nurses rushed Selena straight to the emergency room.
He looked at his wife only to find her staring at her tablet with confusion.
"What's wrong?" He asked, looking so horrified.
"I didn't know that Barney doesn't have a family," his wife replied.
Evan sat down next to her and then looked at the tablet in her hands.
Barney's mother, father and his sister were all deceased.
He sighed, how pity it was for him to live alone.
"But look. His bank account is really in a good shape," Evan's face scrunched confusedly as he listened to his wife.
"Tsk… tsk… too bad our daughters are too young. I wish they can find someone like Barney. Look, he really knows how to budget his money."
"Ok, it's enough," Evan was so nervous but his wife was acting as if nothing was happening around her.
