Class-1 room.
Alexa frowned as soon as she arrived in her classroom. She rushed to make sure that she won't be late but seemed like her math teacher wanted to start the class early.
She sighed and sat in her chair, next to her was Stephanie while Ethan had changed his seat and now sitting at the first row while Leo was behind her.
Each row has three chairs, Leo behind was sitting alone while she and Stephanie were also alone in their row.
"Are you angry at me?" Stephanie asked.
Alexa turned and smiled at her, "no, I am just not comfortable around your cousin."
"Don't worry. I am too," they both giggled loudly, causing for the other students to look at them.
When the bell rang, the class started. Alexa turned to her back to get her calculus book when she noticed Leo busy tapping on the screen of his phone.
"Leo what are you doing?" she asked in a whisper.
Leo raised his chin and smiled, then he showed his phone with the message he received from Cassie saying, 'I am in a practice. I will see you at lunch.'
Alexa rose a brow, Leo was smiling from ear to ear which made her wonder the relationship between her brother and Cassie.
"Are you two guy… like,"
Before she could finish, Leo has nodded his head.
And with that, Alexa's expression flattened, "Romeo died because of Juliet and Jack died because of rose. If you want to live brother, I would suggest you break up with her."
Leo scoffed and shook his head. Instead of replying, he decided to message Cassie back.
"You know, Cassie is the cheerleader for the cheering squad. I really thought she and Tom are dating," Stephanie said as she butted into the sibling's conversation.
"Who is Tom?" Alexa asked.
"He's the captain of the basketball team and in the same class with Cassie."
Leo narrowed his eyes, he then focused at Stephanie, "I don't think Cassie likes him."
"What makes you think that?" Stephanie asked back.
"Because she confessed to me."
"Oh!" Stephanie looked so shocked, "I actually thought she likes Ethan but I guess I have mistaken you from him," she said casually as she glanced at Ethan concentrating to what their teacher was saying.
Leo shrugged a shoulder in response. Then, he looked at his phone and smiled when he saw Cassie's reply.
"Hey, Al's best friend," he poked a finger on Stephanie's head.
Stephanie turned around with a poker face, "it is rude to poke people's head, you know?" she then rolled her eyes, "what do you want Alexa's brother?"
"Does the school basketball team have an age requirement? Where do I go to apply?
"Do you even know how to play?" Stephanie asked with one brow raised, doubting him.
"Yup, he knows how to hold a ball" Alexa answered, "but he just doesn't know how to shoot," she continued and laughed.
Stephanie could not help but laugh as well. When she caught Leo's eyes glaring at her angrily, she pursed her lips tightly, stopping herself from smiling.
"You can go to the PE department office. The building opposite of us then you can register yourself."
"Thanks," Leo got up after picking up his bag. When their math teacher turned to face the board, he swiftly ran to the door and ditched the class.
"Do you think Leo is going to try basketball because of Cassie?" Stephanie asked, still amused by Leo's quick reflexes.
"Don't worry. He's Leo, he will give up the moment he sweats."
The time passed so quickly. While Ethan was busy studying just like the rest of the classroom, Alexa and Stephanie were gossiping non-stop.
