After rushing their breakfast, the Su siblings left the house. They all had the same uniform, ID hung around their neck.
Alexa's eyes were locked at her brother Leo's cloth. She was certain that his uniform earlier was a little wrinkled but right now, his clothes were more ironed than Ethan.
Alexa rose a brow, crossed her arm over her chest and frowned at Leo, "did you change your uniform, Leo?" She asked. She was assigned to do laundry in the house. It was not hard given that they have an automatic washing machine but thinking that her brother kept changing his uniform made her want to explode.
Leo nodded and smoothed the hems of his polo uniform, "yep, I smelled bacon because of our breakfast."
Alexa scoffed, "are you sure it's not your mouth?" she sarcastically replied.
"Why are you so rude Al? What did I do?"
Shock by his reply, Alexa's lips parted, "seriously dude? Do you know how hard it is to fold your clothes after washing it?"
"So what? I am doing the iron and I have never complained unlike you."
Alexa laughed sarcastically, "why do you need to change your uniform anyway?"
"It's wrinkled so I need to replace it."
"Wrinkled? That is your excuse? Why don't we change your brain Leo, I believe it's crumpled too. And why bother changing it? it will crump that moment you enter the bus."
Leo's face darkened, he was about to reply when he noticed that the bus was coming.
Quickly, excitement took over Leo's features. Cassie will be on the bus and thinking of seeing her has made him forget the argument he had with Alexa.
Alexa was about to get on the bus when Leo pushed her aside and rushed inside like an excited dog. She blinked repeatedly and held her emotion, thinking that he was still her twin and she wouldn't want her face in the newspapers for the murder of her own brother.
Standing frozen in her spot, Alexa watched as her brother Ethan and Louisa got onto the bus.
"why do I need to be the last one!" she blurted and about to enter when the door suddenly closed.
Alexa's eyes widened, she pumped both palms on the moving bus door hoping for the driver to stop.
She could see her siblings asking the driver to stop but it had passed the bus stop therefore the driver couldn't stop anymore.
Alexa was out of breath even though she hadn't run that far. Beads of sweat on her forehead were making her uncomfortable.
She blew out a sigh. The next bus will arrive in ten minutes, she won't be late but she hated rushing to school since the guard was so strict and always frowning at her.
She sat down on the metal bench at the bus stop, both hands held the strap of her bag pack which was full of books and snack.
After some time of waiting, a car stopped. Alexa raised her chin and saw her friend Stephanie sitting in the passenger seat, car window rolled down and a wide and bright smile on her lips showing her colourful braces.
"Alexa, hop in. My cousin will bring us to school." Stephanie got out of the car to open the door of the passenger seat.
Alexa bit her lower lips, her math teacher was not looking at her which made her feel more anxious.
Eventually, she shook her head and returned a smile, with polite and psych tone she said, "it's alright, the bus is here," then she got up and rushed to the upcoming bus.
Stephanie then closed the door of the passenger seat and went back in her seat. Through the rearview mirror, she watched as Alexa got onto the bus.
"What is wrong with her today?" Samantha mumbled.
"I don't know," Carlito replied casually and started the car.
