Sarah's POV
After that amazing time we had upstairs we decided to go downstairs to get something to eat because it was coming around lunch time. We decided to make sandwiches. Lexi got out all supplies we needed and I grabbed some chips from the cabinets. We started making sandwiches and I went upstairs to see if my mom wanted a sandwich. She was sitting on her bed with some headphones on playing jazz music as she read. I tapped her she jumped but then she laughed and put down her headphones and book and said" Yes" I said"Do you want a sandwich because Lexi and I are making some" She nodded and I asked"What type of chips do you want?" She said"Takis" I nodded and got up and headed downstairs. When I got downstairs and went into the kitchen I saw that Lexi had already made sandwiches with takis on a plate for my mom. I said" How did you know that she wanted a sandwich and takis?"She said,"I've known you and your mom my whole life and I know what she likes and what you like." When she said she knew what I liked she winked and I grabbed the plate fast and took it upstairs to my mom. my mom thanked me and I went back to the kitchen. When I got back to the kitchen I saw that she had already made both of us sandwiches with my favorite chips on it. I made sure my mom wasn't there and said"Thanks babe." Then I gave her a slow but fast enough kiss on her lips to where nobody would've been able to see it. Then I sat at the table and I ate my sandwich as she just looked at me while eating her sandwich. She said" You're staring you know that." When she said that she winked and I felt my face beat up and she just giggled. My mom walked down the stairs a few minutes after we finished our sandwiches and said to Lexi" Thanks for making the sandwich for me." She said" No problem." Then my mom said" Hey Lexi can I speak to you upstairs really quick." She just nodded her head. Then she followed my mom up the stairs and they walked into her room.
Lexi's POV
Sarah's mom asked me to talk to her in her room. I just nodded then I followed her up the stairs then into her room. She started with" Has anything happened that has brought you and Sarah closer?" I said" Yeah this virus." She said" Oh and why is that" I said" We weren't planning to stay besties all of our life but now that this virus has came I realized it might be a bad idea to end our friendship."She said" So your saying this virus made you change your mind to keep this friendship." I nodded yes then she said something that would have shocked me if we weren't in this apocalypse but it still shocked me.She said" Do you like girls." I said" Why do you ask that?" She said" All the time I would pick you up I would always ask you had you found a boyfriend yet and you would always say nope. Then I just thought you weren't interested in guys. But I'm fine if you don't live guys I would have rather not have any godchildren." I said very hesitantly" Yeah that's why I never looked at the boys. I was looking for the perfect girl to be with." She said" Even though you are a lesbian I still see you as my daughter." The last thing she asked me is" Do you have feelings for Sarah?" I nodded. She soon said" Well no wonder I always thought you guys had a really close relationship. I think you guys would be perfect for each other so therefore if you want to date her I give you permission to date her." I said thanks softly then left the room. Sarah was still waiting downstairs. I walked up so her then gave her a really big hug then I gave her a long a loving kiss before she pushed me off and said" My mom is right there." I just shrugged and said" Who cares babe she knows. She even gave me permission to date you." She then stood there wide eyed then she did a soft squeal and gave me a long kiss while her mom was there watching for a few seconds then grabbed a bag of chips then went back upstairs into her room and closed the door. Sarah then stopped kissing me and asked"how." I said" First she asked my if there was anything that brought us closer and I said the virus. She then asked me if I liked girls which I said I did and then she finally asked me did I like you and I said yeah but she said it was okay if I did because she knew I made you happy and she didn't want you to have kids either way with a guy.
