Chapter 10 - Chapter 9

I jumped on my feet and forcefully woke up Dave...we were supposed to get to the Shrine by 5:45...and now it was five. We both got ready by 5:30 and headed to the canteen.

This time while waiting for our breakfast I started observing the canteen hall. Previous night I was not able to get a nice look at it for I was too submerged in my thoughts and extremely exhausted as well. The canteen wasn't that big but it was worth to be called a hall. The walls, all painted in light blue tone was pretty relaxing, compared to our room that was blank. Portraits were also hanged to appeal to the tourist's taste but the orientation was a bit sloppy. Can you guess a picture of a Shrine beside the beach and beside it was a scenery of the mountains...and similarly the whole hall was in such a drastic condition. It was as if it was hung just to appease the tourist's views, but was it really working thou? Our pre-ordered plates were ready and delivered to our table. We had toast, butter and omelette in our breakfast menu; the food was warm and ready to be consumed. After having our fill and relaxing with a cup of coffee each, we left with our equipment.

On our arrival, we were setting up everything, as per the schedule. Then I explained to Dave, "We have a total of three more days here so we will be covering four doors each day, and as the time is limited let's make haste."  Meanwhile while taking the pictures, we met the High priest, who was simply strolling around checking if everything was going well in the Shrine, and his another reason for coming here was to warn us about not to wander off into the deep trenches. He left after saying that one of his apprentices would be joining us later.
