"Is he hurt somewhere, James can you hear me" Evelina asked in even more worried and concerned tone.
"Chances of him getting hurt it almost zero because you suspended him in the air few feet above the ground and this is not the first time he slipped that he is traumatized because of it" Fred weighed out all the options with a frown in his face.
Alice simply smacked his head once, which snapped James back from his daze. He glared at Alice but the latter shrugged casually and stepped back from his reach.
"That hurts Alice" James whined as he glared at Alice angrily while rubbing his head to sooth the pain.
"You gave Eva a scare, she thought that you went dumb because of the fall" Lorcan snickered at the thought.
Evelina chuckled lightly, she was indeed worried that he was hurt in his head but she was not worried about him going dumb because possibility of that happening was nearly zero.
"Ah..No I was just startled, I'm not hurt as you suspended me in the air few feet above the ground" James explained his situation to Evelina awkwardly.
He really wanted to dig a hole and bury his head into it, he wanted to make sure that he looked just perfect in front of Evelina but somehow he manages to embarrass himself well in front of her at any given occasion.
"James but how come you slipped, you were study in the broom and no buldger went past you, so how come you fell of your broom" Roxanne asked in a confused tone.
"Maybe I missed the balance while catching the snitch" James quickly told them a random reason though he knew that it can never be one of the reasons, missing his balance while catching the snitch would be one of the last things he would do.
Everyone but Alice and Lysander bought his explanation, Evelina was doubtful but as she was not sure about his skills she accepted the reason as well.
Alice and Lysander would have bought the reason if not for them seeing him slip after his eyes locked with Evelina with their own two eyes.
Though Alice was dying to expose him immediately she contained herself when she met the Lysander's eyes which asked her not to.
They decided to deal with James later because they were uncertain if he knew what Evelina did t him or not, though they supported the latter.
"Well...Eva how come you are here, we thought you'd go to the library or rest in your chamber, I am very surprised to see you here" Dominique asked Evelina in surprise and shock.
"How can I not come when my dear friends and future council are practicing, I need to cheer for them, don't you think so" Evelina said as she smiled warmly with a slight hint of cheekiness to it.
"That is so sweet of you Eva" Roxanne started fangirling immediately.
Evelina and others looked at how Roxanne was fangirling and could not help but chuckle in amusement.
"Roxanne sometimes I thoroughly fail to understand your thought process, she is here to support her friends, what is there to fangirl about" Fred asked in a confused tone full of disbelief.
"You won't understand this now, when you find an idol to fanboy around with you would want to do it even when they walk three steps" Roxanne looked at Fred and said this nonchalantly.
"Don't tell me you idolize Eva" Fred asked in horror, other were surprised but thought that she deserved to be idolized, given her skill and mannerisms.
