Evelina nodded at Ethan in a thanking manner and placed the bowl down on the table cautiously while looking at Aria for any surprise assault on her, with another serving of porridge.
"Second Brother you better watch out what you say, I was just making sure she was having her fill, if not I will be the one scolded by Elder Brother and the other four overly protective siblings of ours" Aria said as she looked at Ethan in annoyance.
"If you are so inclined to make excuses why not make them a bit believable as well" Ethan said as he looked at Aria with 'I am not buying it' look.
"Y-you, how can you say it like that. Then do one think you be responsible for her meals, from now on then" Aria said as she huffed in anger.
Evelina looked at the interaction between the duo in amusement, she made sure to hide her smile and soft chuckles behind her indifferent attitude and small coughs.
"That is not as hard as handling the Professors and calls from the Royal Family. Little Sister I have sacrificed a lot for you, that is why you owe me a big time" Ethan said as he suddenly turned towards Evelina.
The latter looked at him in confusion as she could not understand how she owed him a big time, she then looked at Aria who was trying her best to not burst out laughing like a crazy woman as she was trying to act elegant at least in front of Ethan as she won't hear the end of his teasing.
"Well...you see Little Sister, Second Brother was pestered non stop by the Professors, Headmistress and the Royal Family members. He was quite helpless indeed, as among us four he is the only one who is good with words so he was given that responsibility" Aria said as she smirked towards Ethan.
Evelina looked at Ethan, who was nodding his head pitifully when Aria was explaining the situation, Evelina chuckled and nodded at him in a sympathetic way when Aria completed her explanation.
"So are you ready to trade places with me, my dear Third Sister" Ethan asked as he smirked towards Aria whose face immediately went pale with fear.
"N-no, h-how can I trade places with you, w-when you yourself don't e-eat properly" Aria said in panic and stuttered in between in order to find right words and reason to decline his offer.
Ethan looked at Aria suspiciously, whereas Evelina was trying her best to not laugh loudly so as to not disturb the serious environment the duo created after painstaking efforts.
"What do you mean by I don't eat properly" Ethan asked in exasperation, he was truly shocked and speechless at Aria's claim which made no sense to him but apparently made sense to the two young ladies inside the chamber.
"Well you guys can continue it, but excuse me. I have somewhere to be" Evelina said as she stood up and excused herself quickly and sneaked out of the room as quickly and swiftly as possible.
The other two were quite engrossed in staring down each other that they unconsciously nodded in approval and failed to notice the escape Evelina made out of the chamber with ease.
As soon as Evelina exited the chamber and entered the main lounge she heaved a great sigh of relief, it was not that being with the previous two was hard or nerve-wracking but it was simply too amusing to be there without laughing which won't do anything but increase the cat fight of theirs.
