Evelina chuckled at their antics but her smile suddenly froze when she remembered how she owed a big explanation to her newly made friends.
She rose from her bed and walked towards her closet inside the Chamber. She quickly picked up a off-white A-line dress and slipped into it. She then brushed her hairs into a ponytail and slipped into a pair of nude pumps.
She then took a quick look inside the mirror and realized that she forgot to wear an ear accessory. She then quickly grabbed her jewelry box and took out a pair of pink pearl tops and quickly wore it and then placed the box back in its place.
She was about to open the door when the door opened from outside and Aria entered while rolling in a trolley with the help of magic.
"I am yet to explain my stance to my friends, they might be so disappointed thinking that I did not trust them enough to tell them about this" Evelina said as she looked at Aria, calmly.
Though she was calm on the exterior, she was minutes away from going crazy due to anxiety in her subconscious.
"Is that not the reason" Aria asked calmly as she walked inside the Chamber and walked towards the tea table.
She started placing the dishes on the table one by one, without looking at Evelina who was dumbstruck by the former's question.
"T-That..I-I...." Evelina was speechless as that was truly the reason she did not tell them at first but she started trusting them and wanted to tell them during the night's dinner but before that she received the edict and then her identity was revealed accompanied by that incident.
She was helpless and guilty at the same time, she was just trained that way, she was trained to have her guard up all the time, making it difficult for her to trust someone easily, it cannot be helped because she has been living her life that way and will continue that way for the rest of her life.
"Little Sister, don't try to justify it because it is the way it is, no one can change it. We were simply made that way, now it is our nature and we cannot help it, we cannot change it just because it might hurt someone because we cannot make everyone happy" Aria explained calmly.
Though Aria was right, Evelina could not help but feel guilty and worried. She felt that what happened must have made them feel unwanted by her, which is not the case, she wanted to maintain their friendship the way it was before without any changes.
"I know that Third Sister but I don't want them to think that way, though the explanation is a bit late, it is better than nothing right" Evelina said as she said calmly and at the end directed a small smile towards Aria.
The latter looked at her silently for a moment and then nodded as she turned around and started setting up the table.
"Have something first, they are all in the classes right now. It will take another fifteen minutes for the classes to end" Aria said in a calm yet helpless tone.
She stopped trying to make Evelina understand that no matter what she did the people who were bound to go away from her were going to do that and the ones who were fated for her will naturally stay with her no matter the obstacles thrown their way.
Evelina looked at Aria and then walked towards the tea table were Aria had set up few light dishes for Evelina, the dishes looked appetizing and yet were light for the stomach.
