James looked at all three Heirs hesitantly but looking at their serious and sincere expression he knew that they were not joking.
"Okay, I will keep that in mind" James said in a slightly hesitant and uncertain tone, as he slowly nodded his head.
"I know you might be confused as to why we excused, that is because Evelina as recognized you as her close and trustworthy friend or else she would not allow you to address her with her second name which means a lot to her" Antonio said as he looked at James calmly.
"If she has recognized, ultimately we will recognize you as well, so the titles were excused for you and I hope you with uphold her trust till your very last breath" Antonio completed but with slight cold warning at the end.
James nodded in understanding, he was happy when he heard that Evelina recognized him as her trustworthy friend, an inexplicable joy filled his heart, which vanished almost immediately when he remembered her condition at the moment.
"Can I visit Evelina then" James asked in a slightly hesitant yet uncertain tone, he looked at everyone in an expectant way.
"You can, let me lead the way" Antonio said as he stood up from his seat and walked past James inside the lounge which then further divided into four chambers.
He entered the farthest chamber which was away from the buzz of the castle, the hallway was silent with a pleasant breeze blowing throughout it.
Antonio and James, along with others behind them, entered the chamber Evelina was currently resting in.
James heart ached when he saw her lying on the bed with a pale face like a porcelain doll. Though her skin tone was already fair like a white jade it usually had a slight pinkish hue to it but now it was as pale as a sheet of white paper.
"Is there no chance to wake her up before one month" James asked in a desperate tone, his mind chaotic with internal turmoil brewing. He wanted to do something and wake Evelina up as he could not bear seeing her lying motionless like that.
Antonio and others looked at him in shock and surprise, for them who were trained in reading peoples minds with the help of their expressions, they could see the amount of agony James was currently in.
"We can but then she would need more time to recover her previous physical strength. This is the best way she was regain her physical strength within minimum time period. Don't worry, she is not that fragile, it is nothing in comparison to what we went through already" Antonio explained.
"Well do you still want to spend some time with her" Antonio asked as he looked at James casually.
"Yes, I want to" James said as he approached Evelina and sat down on the recliner chair near her bed.
"Very well then" Antonio said as he turned around and left the room followed by others.
All along Sam was quietly looking at his unconscious sister, guilt was eating him up bit by bit, but he could only bear it and wait for his sister to wake up.
He was still thankful for his position as he could at least look at his sister whereas Lauren could not do it as well. Though he was later going to convince the Headmistress and bring him to the Guest Palace to have a look at Evelina so that he will be at ease as well.
After everyone went out James silently looked at Evelina, trying to memorize each and every feature of her face.
