Even if one Heir was endangered all four were guilty for it as every Ambassador was supposed to ensure all four Heir's safety and well being.
Antonio then turned towards James, he stood up and walked towards him which made others panic a bit. Everyone was aware that James had addressed Evelina the wrong in a moment of panic and yet it was a sin grave enough to wager death.
"If I remember correctly, you are James Sirius Potter right" Antonio asked in a calm tone, his voice deliberately domineering.
He wanted to see what this boy who is more than half a decade younger than him has that, the ever so cold-hearted Evelina defended him so quickly, when she would hesitate and think over hundred times to defend him, Aria or Ethan.
He was interested to personally witness what James had that Evelina trusted him so easily, when it took her a long time to trust them who were on the same situation as her.
"Yes, Your Highness" James said respectfully as he bowed slightly in front of Antonio, his eyes respectfully trained towards the floor.
"Would you like to join the Ambassadors in the investigation" Antonio asked in a calm tone his previous domineering pressure vanished when James was not slightest bit scared of him, instead it was replaced with amusement and surprise.
Everyone including the Ambassadors were shocked when they heard Antonio, they felt like they were dreaming. None of the Royal Heirs trusted anyone easily let alone someone they barely knew and here Antonio was personally offering James a place in such an important investigation.
James was momentarily shocked and surprised but recovered from it quickly, he thought it through about the help he can offer if he joined. Though he knew he did not have much to offer for the investigation he was sure that he won't become a liability.
"Thank you Your Highness, I would love to join the investigation" James said as he bowed deeply in a grateful manner.
Everyone was again dealt with another blow when James accepted the offer, without much thought. Antonio smiled lightly, his smile very faint only the ones who were observing him very keenly could decipher it.
"Very well then" Antonio said in a calm with a slight hint of amusement in his tone. He then turned towards the Ambassadors who stiffened under his gaze.
"James will also be a part of you till the investigation ends, make sure he gets access to all the places including the Guest Palace" Antonio said in a cold and calm tone.
He then left the waiting lounge without waiting for a reply from any of the Ambassadors and proceeded towards the Chamber where Evelina was currently resting.
Everyone inside the waiting lounge was dumbfounded at the declaration, before Harry, Ginny or any of the Professors could scold James, Sam intervened and became James's saving graze.
"James please come with me, I will prepare everything you will need to accompany us and other things which will grant you an easy access to all parts of the castle" Sam said in a calm yet warm tone.
Other Ambassadors were at first shocked but regained there senses quickly and tried to understand James as the teenage boy could convince two of the most picky people in their group of eight.
Antonio was the most picky and perfectionist among them and Sam was next to him in being perfectionist and picky for each and everything be it the way of handling things or the way of eating or dressing they were very hard to satisfy and please.
