Yet no one cared for her as all of them were focused towards the stage where the curse was about to hit Evelina.
Harry soul shuddered at the same green beam he was about to protect Evelina by blocking the curse himself because the life of the Heir was more important than his but Evelina was a bit faster than him.
Her hands violently flicked in front of the green beam and a big yellow shield formed in front of her which started from the floor of the Great Hall to the ceiling of the Great Hall. All the students were blinded because of the amount of brightness it consisted.
The ones behind the shield where shocked by the decision Evelina made and panicked at the very moment as well.
Harry was about to push her out of the way even when the shield was formed, as no shield has ever been known to stop the Killing Curse.
What came next was something no one would have believed if not for them witnessing it firsthand themselves.
The shield Evelina created absorbed the green beam within itself, as soon as the green beam was absorbed in it the Shield vanished and Evelina slumped on the floor shocking everyone.
"Rose" James was the first one to call out her name and snap everyone out of their stunned state.
James was already running towards Evelina when others were just processing what happened, but all James cared was Evelina's well being. His heart almost stopped beating when Evelina stepped forward before his father and the green beam was seconds from hitting her.
When the shield appeared and it miraculously absorbed the green beam, James was relieved but soon his face turned pale with horror when he saw Evelina's unconscious figure on the ground.
Without him realising he called out her name and ran towards her without caring that he could have his life taken away as penalty for calling Evelina's name without her titles.
Everyone snapped out of it, Lauren and Sam were the ones to react next. They also ran towards their sister and slowly others also.
Harry was the first one to pick Evelina up as he kneeled and looked what happened to her, being the one closest to her he looked at her drifting in and out of consciousness.
Antonio quickly bent down and checked her pulse and almost cursed out loud, Ethan and Aria looked at Antonio in frustration as he was looking taking so long to open his mouth.
"Elder Brother what happened to Little Sister" Aria's patience snapped and asked Antonio with a worried tone.
She forgot about her surrounding and even the way she was supposed to address Antonio in front of others and neither Ethan nor Antonio could care any less about it at the moment.
Though James and Lauren reached Evelina they could not get near her and check her condition as their respective mothers held them back.
"James, you cannot carelessly call out her name. Even Her Highness won't be able to defend you, if someone brought it out" Ginny hissed as she looked at her son seriously, her eyes dancing in between her son and Evelina.
She was equally worried about Evelina but could not go near her at the moment as she had to control her eldest son who was worried sick for his friend or that is what she thought.
"Lauren, don't worry they will take care of Her Highness. Calm yourself down, though you are her brother you cannot go near her easily. Only the Heirs are allowed to go near her freely without any restraints" Selena reminded Lauren in soft tone.
