Yan Yi will kill that annoying administrator in the next meeting. Her pent up frustration from being bored have been maxed out already. And right now she is really bored!
She angrily threw the book in her hands into the jade pool and water splashed out, almost wetting her soft clothes.
".. Tsk! These books are really boring. It's been over a hundred years, but their sense is still in stupidity level!"
To calm herself down, she went to make a pot of tea but when she open the lid to make her current favorite tea, she sees it empty.
"Ah..? Why is it empty already?"
And then it quickly submerged in her mind. She remembered that she gave Xiao Zi a pouch of her current favorite tea and that was actually all of it.
Yan Yi sighed. She now remembers how she was in a moment of impulse when Xiao Zi suddenly visited her. At that time, she was very bored and everything was too quiet that when Xiao Zi came in, it almost felt like her savior has come.
Her tea was also given away when Xiao Zi said that it tasted good. Sigh, the perks of a lonely woman.. wuwu.. (╥﹏╥ °)
She wanted to congratulate Xiao Zi for doing a good job. He is Su Jin Xia's system partner, and Xiao Zi's sideline mission is to heal Su Jin Xia's soul which is equivalent to healing her feelings. It seems that currently in Su Jin Xia's 3rd world, there was some improvement. So she happily gave him her tea... (੭ ˃̣̣̥︹˂̣̣̥)੭
Well, if it's gone then it's gone, she just have to find something else to brew.
She have a garden with different herbs, edible plants and flowers that can be made into tea so she unhastily went there. Yan Yi thought that this might be a good chance to find her next favorite tea flavor.
But as she search for it, one by one, her initial happy smile slowly turns into a frown.
... it seems she have drink every kinds of flavor available here. (┳‸┳)
Yan Yi went back sitting by the jade pool and casually waved her hand to find something as the scenes on the water surface changes in seconds. It showed many places and people, don't know what she's looking for.
This jade pool has a clairvoyance ability. It helps Yan Yi see the whole world in every angle she wants. Anf right now, Yan Yi is actually searching for some information so the scenes varied with different people talking gossips and rumors.
Yan Yi paused her waving movements and focused on what this group of men varying in age and appearance are talking.
A thin man in green clothes said: "What about the Thousand Lotus Pavilion? I don't think you won't like it there."
Beside him is a bulky man in dark purple clothes: "That's right. I have heard of it's great reputation. I also recommend it."
Another man in blue clothes happily said: "Their tea is the best in the country! I've heard that even the prince of the neighboring country said great praise about them!"
In the middle of these 3 men, a handsome man in black robes stood in consideration of their words. Moments later he finally nodded.
"Then, let's go and see. I've also heard of this tea house's reputation while I was away from the capital. Maybe they really have the best teas."
And then the foursome went inside a large tea house where many people, men or women enter in groups.
Beside the jade pool, Yan Yi touched her chin to consider a thought.
This tea house they say... it should have good tea right? To garner this much customers and reputation, it made Yan Yi consider trying their so called best tea.
She haven't left this place ever since she was assigned in this world which is over 200 years ago. After a week of surveying the whole world, she have locked her self in this place ever since then.
"Hm... Might as well take this chance to roam around and have fun. Anyways, there's no urgent matter that needs my attention."
Therefore, Yan Yi left the dimension after leaving some precautionary measures that will be ready when matter arises.

In Jing city, people are running there and here, clearly everyone is busy. Bright banners and clothing filled the city streets, lot of young people goes around in pair and group enjoying the ongoing Lantern Festival.
There were a lot of small stalls selling lanterns and beautiful attractive things. One can see that the men in those young couples buy beautiful accessories for their woman companion.
And in the middle of this bustling business, Yan Yi slowly roam around herself. On her face is a red lion mask that covers her whole face. It wasn't that she's disguising, but in fact, Yan Yi is very aware of her above average looks which might cause unnecessary attentions.
Yan Yi never thought that the time she decided to go to the mortal realm will be during a festival like this. A festival when couples tend to go out in the pretense of enjoying the festival. If this is the modern day, it's no different from a date during Valentine's.
So, though she doesn't really mind that couples are everywhere, it's really bothering to think that she's all alone in a place like this where people goes in pair or group. ╮(╯﹏╰)╭
Well... this is not what she came for anyways... Her destination is Thousand Lotus Pavilion, a famous tea house that is in everyone's recommendation list.
Just how delicious their tea could be if almost everyone wants to go there just for it? This is why Yan Yi is also curious.
Just right after she turned a corner she saw a line of people outside a building, when she saw what the building's name is, Yan Yi sighed in relief that she finally found Thousand Lotus Pavilion.
She went to go in line. Although the people in front are mostly in groups or pairs, it seems that she would be the 9th customer if she didn't count it wrong. Indeed, after 8 groups or pairs, it is finally Yan Yi's turn.
The shopkeeper is a man in who looks to be in his late forties. He is wearing yellow robes and has a typical beard that one could see everywhere on old people's faces. The shopkeeper have a polite smile on his face when he faced Yan Yi, but suddenly his smile became even more polite and respectful like worshipping his god.
But it isn't Yan Yi who is receiving this kind of treatment, the shopkeeper went past Yan Yi and bowed to a group who just came in. This group of four is clearly leaded by the handsome man in black robes. She thought that he looks familiar.
"Hey, isn't that Jiang shao ye?"
"Huh? You're right. So it is really true, the rumor that Jiang shao ye is back from the borders?"
"Right, right."
Yan Yi heard the two men behind her whisper in askance. It sounded as if it's shocking to see this shao ye they are talking about here in Jing city.
She saw the shopkeeper called a servant and had them lead into the second floor before the shopkeeper made his way back in front her. He smiled as if he didn't neglect her earlier.
Yan Yi isn't here to cause trouble, and such trivial things are still tolerable for her hence she let go of the shopkeeper's bias attitude. It isn't surprising to see people with this kind of attitude, it can be considered as a norm.
A little servant girl was sent by the shopkeeper to lead her into the open area on the second floor. There— she can see the whole street where people kept their lives busy.
"What does Miss wants to order?"
The little servant girl looked at the elegant lady sitting in a graceful manner in front of her. She have seen many noble ladies in this capital, but even without seeing the face behind the red lion mask, she can tell that this person is beautiful. She wonders which family's miss this is.
Yan Yi didn't bother to pick up the menu list and casually spit out her words.
"Just give me the best food and best tea here."
"Certainly, right away miss."The little servant girl bowed in curiosity and left silently to get her orders.
"Oh! It's really good! Try this, brother!"
A voice so loud that Yan Yi could hear it from a few meters away from her. It came from an enclosed thin walled room across her table. She frowned at the thought why this jolly voice sounded familiar to her.
"I'll go get a servant to order something else."
Another voice interjected and not a moment longer, the curtain beads opened and a thin man wearing green robes came out to signal towards a servant waiting not far away from him.
Yan Yi couldn't help but look at him as she finds him familiar too. She have been feeling like this since earlier this day. She's also very certain that she have never seen him before...
Then it clicked into her mind.
... ah, right. Weren't these people the ones she saw in the jade pool?
