I stood facing the mirror in the bath,the guys were downstairs and I had to put on this mask that hid away my pain-it was getting difficult and my guilt worsening-will Jinn ever forgive me?would any of them forgive me?.
The water ran noisily as I pondered my ordeal.Breathing hard through my nose, I stopped the water flow.
"why are you still running_" i lurched away from the mirror, this strange tormentor staring at me,my face but not me.
"_when you already gave the second full authority?" his gravely growl,evil projections in my head,presence around me was like a swelter. My heart throbbed ruthlessly inside me as I stared at my reflection.
"It's destiny_and you're in for a great cause" he continued and I shook my head, great cause?
"I did give you the opportunity to join me,you won't be the first to resist , your friends _"he pulled his lip in loathing"they will be safe and this world would return to what it was meant to be,peace and free from evil" His eyes peered into my soul"the faster you're deciding the more chance your friends have to live!" he growled impatiently as I tried to arrange my words.
"There is a safer way the Lady Jinn_"
"Fool!" I cringed, his lack of patience wasn't a surprise he never listened to my suggestions, my fist clenched and fear fueled my being "she knows nothing,she is useless and would only put Jinn and the others in danger!"
"y-you don't know that" I whispered and my lower lip quavered.
" listen _give me your word or I won't spare you, after all your blood is already rotten.No matter what debt I owe you I won't hesitate to kill you_you understand that you don't control me" his dead tone deepened.
"you_" I turned away "you have my word" I said and walked to the door,turning back I watch my reflection fade 'i really beg for your forgiveness' I pleaded in silence and headed downstairs.
"Dude" Zhang Kai glared at me
"you're late,the tour has already started".Taking in deep breaths I turned to Jinn he was looking at me.
Zi hua walks up to him at the instant and he turned away "we need to talk later this evening" Zi hua whispers and walked away, I wondered-was it about me?I knew I needed to ward their suspicion.
I strode to Jinn.Reluctantly holding his hands, I grinned broadly.
The day was great there were alot of activities, we took photos and finally I had to get Jinn to meet the second's vassal.
A loud whirring sound came from the North of the Library and i closed my eyes."what's with the weird noise" people murmured.
"let's meet at the entrance,gather the others it's been three hours already" Zi hua said uneasy.He knew things weren't right and I was afraid what he planned to tell Jinn would involve them meeting the Lady.
I watched Jinn move towards the North wing and stare at paintings.
"Hey let's go"Richard tapped me and turned towards Jinn "Jinn!" he yelled and I froze Richard couldn't be here .
"The Beautiful Artist!" Jinn's gasped,his eyebrows shut up then scrunched as he stared at the empty frame.I wondered where the painting was,only it's name and date were written.
She was here,I said to my self as I felt the strange presence of undesired calm that crept into the atmosphere.Richard sped past me and pulled Jinn away."come on Taeh" he said breaking into a jog
"few seconds" I replied glancing briefly as the moved out of sight.
I turned back at the painting,the vassal stood motionless watching me.
I walked up to her heads bent and eyes shut,
"get me another opportunity tonight" she informed me vanished.The ambiance of the library returned moments later and the noise died.
