I sighed," He won't but Deverell is coming tomorrow. " " He is coming nowhere near you. " I exclaimed," Joe is here! " He went to the front door. He grunted out," Nobody is here. " " Can you at least try to be nice?! Joe is standing right next to you!"

His eyes started getting red at the mention of another male," Ger, calm down. He's not going to take me away from you. " He took a deep breath," Just go feed. I'll be safe, I promise. "
" Promise me you'll go inside and lock the door, then you'll stay in the house until I get back?" " I promise, Gerard." He added," Yell if anything happens." " I know. I'll be fine. " I kissed his cheek and he left out the door.
With Gerard gone hunting, I became seriously bored so...I decided to call Deverell. He picked up," Hey Shadow." " Hey, Deverell. What's up, Bro?" He laughed.
" Nothing much. But it is quiet without you here." I sassily told him," Aww. You must miss me then." He admitted," A little bit. How come Gerard isn't yelling at me to stay away from you?"
" He went to go feed." Deverell said," He's going to be mad he comes back." " Why?" He pointed out," You are talking to another man." " First of all, you are not a man. You are a boy. and I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to talk to my best friend."
He yelled," I am too a man!" I laughed at him," Yeah, I'm sure you are." Deverell added seriously," But I'm still a male and us, vampires, are very possessive of what's ours." I sighed," When can you come over." " Soon Shadow."
Suddenly someone yelled from behind me," WHO ARE YOU TALKING TOO?!" I turned around quickly. There was a very, very, very angry Gerard. " I'll call you back." I hung up.
Gerard said," Who were you talking you?" " Deverell." His eyes got even redder than what they were if that's even possible. " Ger, I promise I was just checking to see if he hasn't burned down the house yet."
Gerard used his vampire speed so he was now right in front of me," You are mine! Not that worthless stupid weakling's!" I yelled at him," Don't call him names!" Gerard yelled back," You shouldn't care about him!"

I can feel it when someone is in trouble and honestly I don't like yelling! It's giving me a headache! Gerard seemed to know where my thoughts were headed," You can't leave me!"
I decided to mock him by saying," Watch me." I used my super-speed to run out of the room. Gerard was on my tail. No, not literally. As soon as I felt the calm breeze from outside, my wings extended out.
I flew up and took one last look at Gerard to see hurt and anger in his eyes. I mean it's not like I'm leaving forever just so I can calm down and go help that person, it's my occupation.
