Fate really played well this time just a year have passed, and Hikari is reborn.
In this time she is raised in an assassin family. She is the youngest but have the greatest potential, she's named Makilla. She is a fun seeking child but sometimes she is like a machine when she is manipulated by her oldest sister.
Since young she is trained by her father personally sometimes her grandmother or her grandfather. Her first kill is when she's just a toddler.
A nanny is not taking care of her well and she "accidentally" happen to hold a pointed silver stick and it is very sharp. It pierced the wicked nanny's heart.
The nanny is also an assassin sent by another family to spy.
When Makilla "accidentally" killed her, her mother is very proud because she is the youngest child in their family to kill at her age. They gave her a lot of gifts and her oldest sister stopped at manipulating her.
At the age of three Makilla took her first mission, and she did it gracefully. Their family is known for having their service costs at a very high price. But they never missed their target and they will complete it immediately. Being the youngest she is not pampered but she didn't mind as long as her oldest sister isn't around.
One day her mission is to kill the person living in the big mansion in Grey district. Lagim's mansion, where he stays like a doll. He left Scato because there's a lot of memories there with Luz.
As Lukileon says the story he gives some hints that the story is real and have some connection with them...
Later the mansion was known as the Luz Mansion because it is the only place that have a light color and Luz means light, but the mansion aura is grim.
Makilla sneak in, their she saw her target sitting in the window not moving and almost not breathing. She's curious if he's still alive so she silently walk near him. Her footsteps doesn't have a sound that Lagim didn't noticed her presence, also assassin's have a very light footsteps but in Makilla's case she almost doesn't have it.
When Makilla is beside Lagim she directly face him and when she looked at his eyes it is empty. Lagim still didn't move even with the sudden intrusion of a face in his eyesight. As minutes pass he suddenly recognized the face but he still didn't move afraid that it will disappear.
Makilla saw the sudden change in the eyes of the man. She is very small so she is standing in the window just to face man. She also didn't move cause it is very interesting seeing the change also, she's still a toddler and she is very curious of a lot of things aside from assassination.
She reached for his face and hold it with her two tiny hands. When Lagim felt those little soft palms he becomes frozen. Never did he imagined that just a few years and he saw her again. Now his mind is clear.
The same face will always appear and maybe just maybe he will always have a chance to meet her again and again. Since he really falls for her, he doesn't mind if he gets hurt again and again as long as she's being reborn or reincarnated.
He is still recovering his feelings but seeing her as an assassin he can't help but gets angry. He doesn't want her to be a killer and also he wanted her to be innocent as she was. He also doesn't want her killing with those same clear eyes. He knows how bad it is to kill and he knows what feeling consumed him all of his life. He doesn't mind if it is him who end the life of others.
Not wanting to see the face of the girl he loves to kill mercilessly or becomes an assassin he took her heart in his hands.
It is very brutal to kill, especially a toddler but he doesn't want her hands to be filled with blood of others. Also he thinks what if he lose himself for his thirst of blood and accidentally kill her.
Will she be reincarnated again?
Or him killing her will stop the repeatedly occurrence of seeing her face.
He killed her but there's no hate or brutality in his eyes only gentleness and love.
Makilla felt her body temperature is getting cold. She didn't look herself but looks at the man's hand where her her is and then to his eyes.
She's confused why she didn't feel any hate towards the man even if he suddenly killed her. But why should she feel when she herself came there to kill him.
