Staying in Red district there's no future for Tein and Bali. After traveling they learned a lot of things through their experience and observations. They also earned just enough money. Bali is a fast learner especially when it comes to instruments. He plays really well. Tein is really great at dancing but she always hides her face with a fox mask or an emotionless mask. She don't know what expression to make when she dance. She is very pretty but the pretty face only shows a poker face.
"What does it mean, keep everything clean? It's very simple and easy to understand but why is that I sense something more to it?"
Bali breathe deeply. "Just simple as that... even you do underhanded methods as long as no one complains you can continue your own business. You can kill someone in broad daylight, if no one makes a fuss you are free as if nothing happens."
"I see..."
"Father! do you remember me? Father! it's me! Your lovely daughter! Father how could you..."
Suddenly approaching a stranger she just come by at the first glance. Tein teary eyes and her pitiful look shocked the guy.
He asks himself if he really have this daughter. He almost believe her, but he is still a bachelor and he never touched a woman before, or did he?
"Father... why did you leave me and my siblings? Now even mother left us... It's just me, big bro and my little baby brother... are we ready that unwanted..."
Lots of tears keep falling from Tein's face that the guy don't know what to do. He is even frozen in his feet and his mouth is open.
Suddenly Tein put Sorairo besides Bali, and a warm tune started to play a heart warming music started to fill the air. Tein suddenly put her masks on and she dance gracefully. She is dancing a story of a little family... a big brother, a little sister and a baby brother and then the music will change swiftly as the dance story change. Tein's movement is very light that in the eyes of the onlookers, her feet barely touched the ground.
She swiftly move from one side to the other claiming the whole area her stage. Sometimes she would circled a person, sometimes she would pause in from front them. A lot of people pause and watched the play. Pointing her toes back and her arms upwards like a swan ready to take it's flight she ended her dance and the music also stopped. The audiences where moved and amazed it's their first time seeing someone dance like this. Since they have more money with them they throw their money at Bali's feet avoiding the baby beside him.
"Hey man, you play really well."
"Yes, yes and your sister dances really well... with those hips- ouch!"
The other guy elbowed the tall guy, seeing the dark look on Bali's face. He immediately pulls the tall guy and leave.
"What is that for, I haven't taken the girl's name."
"You are tall but you lack brains. Remember that not a single person is normal here in Cilivi. We are here because we have a lot of money like the others but some don't."
"Exactly we have money so we are invincible. Hey did you see their father? I think I can buy her from him." Looking in the crowd the tall guy didn't see the disgusting look the other guy is giving him. "Wuntan did you see their father?"
Wuntan turn around and ignores the tall guy. I know money makes us invincible you moron but that doesn't makes us strong. Wuntan doesn't think like everyone else that money is everything but everyone is blind to this.
"Father thank you for lending me your presence." Tein gave a little bow and quickly left with Bali and Sorairo.
"Bro, when did you get the time to make a pretty daughter like that? Tristan the virgin is only a false character?!"
Tristan the father still silently stayed in his spot without saying or thinking anything.
"And... and not just one! but you have three children!"
"Oh just shut up Kirto. Did you see that's all an acted." why did I partner with this birdbrain blending with the crowd again? "Do you think the Boss let me stay in the squad if I have a family?"
Scratching his head Kirto said. "Yes you are right we are lonely souls that don't have family or relatives." Even if he said this he still don't understand how Tristan manage to score three times. Almost every time, Kirto just agrees to what the other party says, one time a guy from their opposite squad tells him to wake up their squad leader he just happily follows. That morning he earned three stars and three knots in the head. Their squad leader just got to his bed that morning cause he had the night watch duty.
Bali group of three went to find the cheapest inn. It's almost impossible that they reach outskirts of Cilivi. But there is a part of Cilivi that only few comes it is called Sulums. In this place Bali find the inn and paid for the night. A long the way they already ate some street foods. The room they got doesn't have any bed or anything at all, there are cracks on the wall and spiderwebs are everywhere good thing the floor is cement and the roof is still in good condition. They are used to staying the night outside but tonight it's gonna be raining hard.
"You played that song again... Ulan... now we're wasting our hard earned money!" complains Tein. They name the tune "Ulan" means rain cause every time Bali plays that tune it rains very hard.
"Can't help it, we need to erase our traces and also this rain helps to cover our scents." Bali then shrugs his shoulder.
"I see so Bali is not totally dumb."
"Mind your words "Iro" you are not useful so you better know what to say." Bali emphasize the word Iro and slightly trembles there's something weird it the name when he said it.
"Guys do you think someone is following us?"
Good grief! Thought the two boys. Finally Tein noticed the dark aura.
"Someone?... not something?" Bali quickly ask.
"Why? is there something wrong?" Sorairo walk slowly to a corner then sleeps he needs it to grow up fast. "Didn't you hear their footsteps since we crossed the bridge?" Tein questioned since Sorairo sleeps she turns to Bali but they guy is already snoring. Feeling wrong she throws a button to Bali but as a deep sleeper he didn't feel it.
Since you sleep peacefully, I will sleep also. If they are in danger Bali wouldn't sleep like that.
She feels like the person or people following them is just observing and no ill intentions.
"Thirteen years old... it's already the right age for marriage. I think in very near future my Liege will make his move. And I will no longer stay in this state... but first let me snack some souls lingering around my subject." Just like that three people lost their life and they become withered corpse.
