Chapter 5 - Secret Letter

Nowadays, Ruhi loves to sleep until the afternoon due to her evening job. She had already stopped her extra classes and could only go to school. She has to stop her classes and find the money for the sake of the debt. So, she found a cafe job near the city. She has to work in the evening after school. Ruhi has to work for Roy for four days, so for the other three days, he works part-time in a restaurant until 11 pm. To get that job, Ruhi's friend Kaushi's father helps her. Ruhi's aunty is regularly sewing clothes for a shop. She is skilled in her work, and after selling sewing clothes, she earns some money to stabilise her day-to-day expenditures. Since she established her job, she has had few customers.

"Ruhi, my darling, don't worry too much. I'll handle everyday expenses. You don't want to think about that. okay."

One day Nayomi said to Ruhi. She is apprehensive about her daughter. She is still inexperienced and has never encountered this kind of position before.

"Okay. Let's do it like that."

When they first dealt with this issue, they prepared an arrangement for the future. First, Aunty will take care of their daily expenses, and Ruhi will save money after doing her part-time job.

"Aunty, I'm working for Roy for four days so that they will deduct my father's credit from that money. Still, I could manage some money from the cafe job."

Nayomi becomes happy about Ruhi's plan, but she fears her strength. Studying and working is impossible for her.

"Ruhi, how will you study if you work in the evening? How are you going to pass the exam?"

Nayomi worries about her studies. She is close to her exam but felt Ruhi doesn't prefer to study.

"Don't worry, Aunty, I don't want to pass the exam. You know what I like."

"Okay, at least you must get a pass mark for the subject."

"Okay, I will."

Nayomi knew her intention. She chooses to be a car race rider, but her father places a wall because she is a tiny girl. She tries her best to persuade her father, but she can't. The next day in the morning, Ruhi gets up from her aunt's shout. She was startled after seeing Nayomi's behaviour today.

"Ruhi.... don't panic after hearing what I am saying. You have to promise me you're not becoming distracted after hearing this."

Ruhi realised she was moving to talk about challenging issues because she had never acted like that.

"They are not moved to India."

"Who?"

 "Your father and sister."

After hearing that, Ruhi's heart was dressed in worry. She never went through like this before. She was genuinely startled by her father and sister's condition.

"Aunty, don't joke with me. What you're talking about."

"I'm never joking about these kinds of matters and also with your emotions, my darling. I just wanted to let you know there is nothing to worry about. First, read this letter."

Nayomi handed over a small note into her hand. While talking, she looked far from the window. Ruhi figured out that she and Nayomi Aunty were in fear.

"What's this?"

"First read it. Don't read it loudly."

She had a lot of regulations before reading the paper. Ruhi found out it was a message, but she didn't identify from whom. Nayomi's impatience creates Ruhi's fear because she notices her aunt isn't like that person. She is a clammed person who encourages others as well. She only talks about positive facts. But today's behaviour creates gigantic confusion. When she freed the letter, her hands started weakening and shaking. Her mind was painted with pieces of view that she couldn't locate any explanations. However, she planned to open the letter and read it. She admits to reading because she has no choice, and she couldn't run away. First, she read the letter after opening it. She felt like those letters in the note were invisible. Her eyes darkened all the letters from her view with tears.

"Please go ahead and scan it. We must tear this paper; otherwise, those bastard mafia people will discover."

After hearing that from her aunt, Ruhi quickened her hand. She knew before she read the letter that Aunty had read that.

To my dear daughter,

I'm genuinely sorry for what I did for it for you. I'm sorry I left you alone with your aunt. Your sister and I are fine. You don't need to worry about us. How are you, my darling? I'm sorry that I left you with Mr Roy hundreds of times. I didn't have any option. He has groups of people around the country. He could get any message within a few minutes. So, I couldn't move to India. I planned not to leave there, and I'm staying with you and a little far elsewhere from the place, but not overseas. I'm sorry, my dear, I smash your trust. As a father, I'm not good enough for you. I break your dead mother's promise. I promised her I would care for you and your sister, but I couldn't, my darling. Please forgive your miserable father. Please. I explained everything to your sister. Now she knows all. I'll come to you very shortly. Please stick around for a little. Be careful, my lovely daughter. I love you.

Your dad.

After her father and sisters disappeared, she never drops a tear. However, after reading the letter from her dad, she couldn't carry her suffering any further. In the letter, there is purely sorry. She could hate her father, but she will never work out that, and whatever shows in front of her, she seeks to cover her best. Ruhi bends her head on the table to melt her pain. She tries to relax her mind after taking off her tears. Nayomi still couldn't deal with her tears after seeing Ruhi's pain.

 "They are safe, Aunty."

"Yes, my darling. Now, we don't want to be upset about too much."

"Yes, I have to settle that bastard mafia's money, and then we will all be free from him."

"Why did your father take money from those people? He knows fully about them."

Nayomi was extremely upset about her brother's irresponsible movement that he picked up without even assuming about his people. Ruhi rubs her face and tries to relax. Whatever happens, she thinks, to face everything.
