On a cool summers night the brisk breeze was anything but fresh, a pungent sent wafted in the air bringing a vivid smell of death and decay, the blood soaked soil and smoldering heaps of huts around the village were a reminder of a fierce battle. In the midst of all this destruction a youth around 16 could be seen struggling under the beams of a fallen roof. Alec's soot covered face showed pangs of agony as he struggled to get from under the beam his body going in and out of consciousness as he waited to die. In that state even a sneeze from a fly would send him to the great yonder only resentment and anger could be drawn from him. As he finally gave in to death the sound of footsteps could be heard approaching him and the last thoughts he had were at last the reaper was going to reunite him with his mother. As Alec passed away his body didn't grow cold his heart didn't stop beating, even though to the world Alec was still alive, though what took over him couldn't be seen. A soul from earth had broken free from the chains of death to roam in the land of the living once again.

Mikael Salvatore could hardly believe his luck as he could feel, the reaction from his nerves screaming at the pain his body was in. For him it was eons at least since he could last feel a thing, on earth he was a martial arts enthusiast and being conscious of his body was ingrained into him. Mikael spent the better part of forty years to learn all he could about martial arts to the point he sense the fabled spirit qi of the heaven and earth, opening his meridians and acupuncture points and condensing his golden core . From studying ancient body forging arts and breathing techniques excavated from archaeological ruins, he carved a way to further human evolution on the path of immortality. Though the strongest man on earth his search for more resources to further his path lead him to join the mission to colonize the surrounding solar systems. As fate would have it an engine failure on their journey caused a massive explosion resulting in the death of the whole crew. During that whole ordeal Mikael soul slipped through a quantum fissure and was dragged across the boundaries of of the many existing quantum realities.

As the laws of many universes were laid bare to him Mikael's soul grew stronger and various laws were imprinted on his soul he became indifferent to space time and the definition of reality. His sense of self was eroding bit by bit and his this seem to be the end a hi soul was dissipating until he felt a suction form out of nowhere dragging him to Alec. Despite the pure tenacity of Mikael's soul his beaten and worn body could only regain consciousness only to hear foot steps before he passed out.
