Chapter 3 - Denial & Anger

I woke up and everything hurt.

Every last bone hurt. Every muscle felt sore. All my skin felt irritated and in my heart stung as if I had a heart attack.

While I tried to stand up I noticed some extra weight on my right hand.

Or should I more accurately say my right wrist.

‚What is that black watch?'

‚It does look stylish.'

‚Uh. It has a display. So more like an Apple Watch then a normal watch.'

‚Dam. I was never a fan of these modern watch. I like the old classic Swiss watches much more. Lets replace it.'

‚Mmmm. My arm hurts. It's so sore.'

‚Shid! I can't get it off. Where's the closure?'

Hans jolted the watch around. Only to find his wrist jolting with it.

‚Damm did that thing grow onto my arm or what?'

‚F**k it! I got better things to do.'

‚What was is doing?'

That was when his memory struck and he remembered what happened it was also at this moment that he noticed it was still night.

‚How come I can see so good in the night?'

Captivated by his newly gained night vision and the new look of the night sky and the moon he shortly forgot the events that transpired before.

Still it didn't took him to long to get back on topic, running straight for his brothers position.

As he went around the corner from where he could see the door to the room Chrisi should have been. He could see his mother standing in front of a furniture doing cutting motions in the air.

„Mom are you fine?" Hans cried out.

Poorly for him, she only turned around shrieked and started running towards him flailing around with her arms.

Hans stopped. Just because he was an athlete and not taking part in fighting disciplines didn't mean he did have his personal share of fighting experience.

One of his good old friends did learn military stile martial arts and taught him some usefully Tipps, like a throw and two other grappling moves.

He nearly messed up his timing as the sprinting tempo of his mother caught him completely unaware.

She never was somebody for body exercises. Her job didn't need pressure, no it needed utmost precision and fineness.

However don't misunderstand. Hans nearly missed cause he already calculated his complete move and had a big prejudice against the speed his mother should have been able to output.

He could still handle the situation quite good. After re-evaluating the situation he was still perfectly able to detain her.

„Mom come down! We need to look after the others. We don't have time for this!"

Again Hans was surprised, his mother's strength also was far above what he expect and she struggled fiercely against his detention grab.

She went even so far as biting him.

‚AAA! What's going on? Why is does it look like she was overtaken by madness?'

‚AAAA! F**k!'

It was at this moment the bite started drawing blood.

‚This can't be real. Something must have happened!'

‚So that Pain was real. Shid what to do I do? So she really went mad. What to do?

I need to knock her out and get her to the hospital.'

He tried all techniques he knew that could help knocking someone out without hurting them too much, but she was just as active and shrieking around freely.

‚Seems I have no other way out. Better a broke leg then a broken head.'

Hans reassured himself it was for her best. Then he used a lever technique to break her two legs at the same time but the pain still didn't knock her out.

The most crazy part was she didn't get more aggressive or even reacted to the pain.

Still trying to hurt him. Hans has no other option then to also break her arms.

‚I'm sorry Mom. I know how important your arms are for you but it's for your own good.'

There she lay. Both arms and legs broken. Throbbing around her head and upper body trying to get closer to Hans and bite him.

‚Nooo!'

‚NOOOOOOOO!'

„NO! You aren't my mother you're some abomination! A monster! You aren't her!"

Then he ran and jumped on her shouting in despair:

„DIIIIIIIE!"
