Betty and Bert washed the dishes as the kids play quietly in the living room. Lily had the late shift today so she could have tomorrow off with the family.
Bert then sat at the table with a cup of coffee.
"How much did you raise for the Mayor last weekend?" Bert asked.
"1.2 million. The event was a huge success. He want me to work on his next project a New years eve event. Money will go to the hospital this time." She said sitting down next to him.
"How's the plans for my wedding?"
"Ask the person in charge Rose. She has it all planned out. Someday she will take over my business."
Bert laughed.
"You helping Bella tomorrow?" Bert asked.
"Yes, why all the question tonight?" Betty asked.
"I don't know just feeling left out I guess. Thanksgiving was always Dad's and my thing. This is the first year I don't get to help with it." Bert said.
"I'm sorry, I bet Zane would love for you to take Bella's spot. He doesn't like her doing anything. Plus I think we are having like 28 people." Betty said.
"Wow who is all coming?" he asked.
"Lets see, the 7 of us, plus Babs 3, plus Bella's 4, dad's 2, plus, Ben's 12 that makes 28." Betty counted.
"Ok, I'll make sure to help then and push Bella out of the kitchen."
Oliver came in, "It's snowing out there now."
"Your kidding right?" Betty said.
"Nope" He kissed her.
She got up and took a plate out of the oven and gave it to Oliver.
"Thanks" he said.
"The weather said it would not hit till after Thanksgiving." Bert said.
"Don't know what to tell you it is snowing out now."
Betty walked to the back door and opened it up. She watch the white flakes fall from the sky. The ground was already being covered.
Trevor came in to get a drink and looked out to see what his mom was looking at and his eyes got big. "Snow!"
"Can we play in it tomorrow?" He asked.
"Sorry, that would be a super yes!" She said.
Trevor grinned, "You are such a cool mom."
"I try to be." she hugged him and closed the door.
Trevor got two glasses of juice and went back to the living room.
Olive sat and ate his dinner the he felt a tug on his pant leg.
"Up up" Olly said.
Oliver picked the little guy up, "How's my Olly today?"
Olly smiled and kissed his cheek.
"I take that as good then." he ruffled his hair.
"He had a good day but I think he misses school. He kept getting his bag and saying go." Betty said.
"That's my boy."
"Juice" Olly asked.
Betty then got his cup and poured grape juice for him.
"Tnks mama" he said taking the cup.
"Oliver, how is the new case your working on?" Bert asked.
"I think well, they don't really have any evidence on my client. I just wish they did not postpone it till after the holiday he could be home right now."
"So you think he did not do the hit and run?" Bert asked.
"He reported his car missing and has three eye witnesses saying he was at the gym at the time it took place. But because the other family has money they are pushing to punish him cause it was his car."
"Good thing he has you then."Betty said
"I need to get Rose ready for bed or Lily will skin me alive." Bert got up and left the kitchen to take Rose to have a bath.
"Can I give Olly his bath?" Oliver asked.
"The sinks right there. His shampoo and body wash is under the sink with his basket of toys." Betty said.
Oliver help Olly take off his cloths and he placed him in the warm water. Olly loved his bath time.
"Why do you still bath him here?" Oliver asked.
"The sink is big so he has room and I don't have to hurt my back bathing him." She said handing him Olly towel.
"I didn't think of that."
They put Olly to bed together then usher Trevor into the shower.
"That boy sometimes, If he had his way he would never clean up." Betty said.
"It's part of being a boy, he will grow out of it and then you'll complain he takes to many showers." Laughed Oliver.
After all the kids were in Bed, Bert said goodnight and left Betty and Oliver in the livingroom.
"You know I am over more and more. I kind of like this life. Is your offer still good?" he asked.
"What offer?" Betty was puzzled.
"To marry you. If it's still good then I say yes." He took her hand.
"Wait right there, no the offer is not good. If you want me now then sorry to late." Betty laughed.
Oliver then got down on one knee and pulled out a little blue box, "Well then Betty Veronica Beauté will you marry me?"
She had not see this coming. She really cared for this man but did she want to spend her life with him. Then she said the only words in her heart "yes"

Babs sat waiting for her men to come home. They had went to see their Mother.
When she heard the door she waddled over.
"Babs, sit your due date is soon and you need to rest." David said helping her back to her chair.
"It's snowing out!" Neil said sitting in front of the fire place.
"Really?" she asked.
"Yes, coming down good." David said pouring two cups of tea. He handed on to Babs.
"How is your mother?" she asked.
"They gave her a doll and she thinks it's her grand baby." David said.
"She kept trying to get me to hold my son. His name is Herbert. That is a stupid name for my son." Neil said.
"I'm sorry, I pray all the time for her to get better."
"It's not your fault. So how has Skyler been today?" David place his hand on Babs tummy and felt his son move.
"I think he is going to be an athletic he won't stop moving. A few times it really hurt." She said.
"Hey you, be nice to your mother or no car when your 16." He said to her tummy.
"David, he don't understand." but just like magic the painful movement stop.
"See he really wants a car." David laughed.
Neil watched his brother and sister-in-law. He knew he made the right choice for his son.
"What time are we heading for Bella's tomorrow?" Neil asked.
"About 10. Dinner will be at 1." Babs said.
