Bella spent the next few weeks with Exams and trying to get the wedding planned. The only one helping right now was Zane's mom.
The wedding so far was big and scary nothing like what Bella really wanted.
One day, Babs calls and ask for a girls day out and Bella jumps at the chance.
"So why did you really call?" Bella asked.
"I just needed sister time. To be honest I did call Betty first but she is busy." Babs said.
"It's alright, I know we have not been close but know I have your back." Bella said.
"So I have saved 200 for some maturity dresses and you are going to help me pick them out."
They laughed and shopped all afternoon then they stopped in for some dinner.
"Babs, how are things going with you and the professor?" She asked.
"I see him almost everyday. He picks me up from work. He asked to go to the next doctor apt with me." Babs said eating her salad.
"Any plans yet with him?"
"Not sure yet, I like him but he is just so dam pushy. I have not been bothered by his mother since the incident about the records."
"He asks me how your doing when I have his class but it sounds like he sees you more than I do." Bella said.
"He is always sweet but bossy to me. If it weren't for his mother I think I would of said yes to the marriage but then again he would of not proposed if not for his mother." Babs said.
"Take the mother and child out of the picture. What are your feeling for the man?" Bella asked.
"I really like him." Babs finished her salad and the main course was served.
"Then just go with that. Zane knew right away I was the one. I also fell but not as fast for him. It doesn't take a long time to fall in love." Bella explained.
Babs thought for a few minutes on Bella words. "What should I do now?"
"What do you want to do?" Bella asked.
"I think I know."

Betty and Sally were swamped with party request. Zane had agreed to let her hire two more people to help plus a finance manger to do payroll and invoice payments.
After their last meeting Betty had only seen Oliver once and that was when she dropped off the invoices and returned the left over payment.
She thought of him from time to time but realized he really did not want to break off his engagement.
Sue had come in a few days ago to set up an appointment with her but Sally made sure to book her with one of the other girls.
However on the day of the appointment Betty was the only one to meet with her.
"Hello Miss Hooper, Missy had an emergency to attend so today you have my services. Will Mr. McLaughlin be joining us?" Betty said.
"Yes, he is on his way here."
"Would you like some Tea, Coffee, or water?" Betty offered .
"Tea for me, Oliver will want Coffee ." Sue said.
Betty left the room and when she came back Oliver was sitting there at the table. She sat the cup and mug down and opened up a note book.
"I'll be starting this process for you but Missy will be in charge of your event." Betty said, "What were you thinking?"
"I want you alone to do our party it has to be as fine as the office party you did." Sue said
"Sorry, I am booked up. I have taken over the Mayor's charity event, The Heart Wedding, and I am throwing a party for the children's home. I only agree to stand in on this first consultation for Missy. Missy is very good at her job and will meet with what you are looking for."
"Give the orphanage one to her, they are just unwanted children. I want you to work our party."
"I'm sorry then. I suggest another company. If I only did one party this year it would be for the children."
"How much are they paying you I'll double it." Sue said not giving up.
"Nothing, I asked to throw the party. I meet a Doctor and a Preacher who were orphans and they give everything they can back. In a way I to am an orphan I lost my mother when I was young. So please leave." Betty was seeing red then got up and held the door.
Oliver just stared at her is disbelief in his eye. This was the girl for him. He then took hold of Sue's arm and pulled her out with put a word.
"I can't believe the way she treated me." Sue said stepping into the elevator with Oliver.
"This will not work. I can not and will not marry you. If your family wants to take my partnership away so be it but Sue we are done now." He got off and walked to his office while Sue stormed into her grandfather's office.
Oliver picked up his phone and dialed.
"Hey Olly, what up bro?"
"Hey Joe what's you know?"
"What can I do for you know?"Joseph asked.
"I heard that Beauté Party Planner was going to be throwing all of you a party on Children's day." Oliver said.
"Yes, Betty Beauté came and asked if she could. When I told her we didn't have that kind of money she said it was all taken care of. Puissance Entreprise is footing the bill."
"Why didn't you tell me? You know how I feel about Betty."
"My Son, she asked me not to. Plus you are an engaged man."
"Don't pull that Father crap on me. I called it off today." Oliver said laying on the couch in his office.
"About time. Betty is a great girl with a big heart. I like her. I'll call Tim lets meet for drinks tonight."
"Ok, thanks." Just as he hung up his office phone buzzed. It was Old man Sanders. Oliver straighten his suit and walked down to his office.
"Come my boy. What is this I hear about the engagement being called off?" He asked.
Oliver explained his feelings about everything. Then was surprised that Mr. Sanders agreed with him and sent him back to work.
