Zane slept in his room getting up a few times to check on Bella.
He had to find a way to make her fall in love with him. He had already gotten her father permission and her oldest brothers blessing.
They would back him as long as he did not hurt her again.
This time when he check, she was moaning with pain, so he woke her up to take some medication.
As she swallowed the pills he laid down beside her she lay on his chest.
He decided to not say a word just let her be. She was soon fast asleep again.
When they both woke in the morning he helped her clean up and put on fresh cloths. He then made them both breakfast.
She felt bad about letting him do her work. But with her pain she could not do anything to help.
She worried about her family and did they really know she was all right.
As if reading her mind again he handed her a phone, "Call your brother and check in, he is worried about you."
Bella took the phone and called.
"Hey, how you feeling,?" Bert asked.
"Sore, Have they got the guy yet?" She asked.
"No not yet. The police will be talking to you today."
"Bert, is everything ok at home?" She was concerned.
"We're fine. Just get better. That guy cares about you. Open your heart for once and think of Bella." He brother said.
They talked about a few things at home before saying good bye.
She thought a moment and decided that Bert was her Hansel to her Grethel they had always helped each other out.
She decided to finish her story.
◇◇◇♡♡♡◇◇◇ HANSEL AND GRETHEL cont:
Then Grethel gave her a push, so that she fell right in, and then shutting the iron door she bolted it! Oh! how horribly she howled; but Grethel ran away, and left the ungodly witch to burn to ashes. Now she ran to Hansel, and, opening his door, called out, "Hansel, we are saved; the old witch is dead!"
So he sprang out, like a bird out of his cage when the door is opened; and they were so glad that they fell upon each other's neck, and kissed each other over and over again.
And now, as there was nothing to fear, they went into the witch's house, where in every corner were caskets full of pearls and precious stones. "These are better than pebbles," said Hansel, putting as many into his pocket as it would hold; while Grethel thought, "I will take some too," and filled her apron full. "We must be off now," said Hansel, "and get out of this enchanted forest." But when they had walked for two hours they came to a large piece of water.
"We cannot get over," said Hansel; "I can see no bridge at all."
"And there is no boat, either," said Grethel;
"but there swims a white duck, and I will ask her to help us over." And she sang: "Little Duck, good little Duck, Grethel and Hansel, here we stand; There is neither stile nor bridge, Take us on your back to land."
So the duck came to them, and Hansel sat himself on, and bade his sister sit behind him.
"No," answered Grethel, "that will be too much for the duck; she shall take us over one at a time."
This the good little bird did, and when both were happily arrived on the other side, and had gone a little way, they came to a well-known wood, which they knew the better every step they went, and at last they perceived their father's house.
Then they began to run, and, bursting into the house, they fell into their father's arms. He had not had one happy hour since he had left the children in the forest; and his wife was dead.
Grethel shook her apron, and the pearls and precious stones rolled out upon the floor, and Hansel threw down one handful after the other out of his pocket.
Then all their sorrows were ended, and they lived together in great happiness. My tale is done. There runs a mouse; whoever catches her may make a great, great cap out of her fur.

What a funny ending Bella thought making a cap out of a mouse.
Zane sat quietly all day beside his beauty still determined to be patient with her.
She studied his face. He was a very handsome man.
"Is there something wrong?" He asked
"No... will you hold me?" She asked.
He smiled and opened his arms. She crawled into his lap and he wrapped his arms around her. 'Baby steps'
She was soon asleep and he could not be happier.
When it came time for dinner just so he could hold her longer he called his secretary to get take out and only woke his beauty when the food was ready to eat.
Tonight they talked like old friends about movies, books, and plays.
She said she would like to attend the Shakespeare in the park and see the plays.
Zane made a note to get tickets and surprise her.
After dinner they watch a classic movie with lots of singing and dancing.
She once again fell asleep in his arms so he carried her to his bed this time still letting her sleep on his chest.
It wasn't long before his phone started to ring but there was no way he was going to put his beauty down to get it; who ever it was was going to have to wait until tomorrow to talk to him.
Soon he noticed his phone would not stop. One after another it went off.
Thinking it might be her family in trouble he laid his beauty down and covered her up.
When he got to his phone 22 missed calls all from his mother.
Before he could dial, number 23, "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" he yelled.
"About time were have you been?" She asked.
"I was in bed. I do sleep sometimes." He said.
"Were you with that girl?" She asked.
"That mother is none of your business. Didn't father tell you to leave me alone?" He hated this posessive side of his mother.
"I'm your mother so yes it's my business. I'm calling to see if you'll have lunch with me tomorrow?" She changes the subject quick.
"No mother I can't."
"But son it's really important. How about Lunch at your place. I'll have it catered. Please I need to see my son."
"Will it be just you?" He asked
Before he could get an answer she hung up. He had a bad feeling about this.
