I could not believe it. Marco was right in front of me as he slipped to the seat beside me. I was still not getting used to the fact that he told them that we were married. But their reaction was even more surprising, like they don't know it at all.
"What is the meaning of this, Thorn?!" Alfred asked as he was looking murderously at Marco. He just smiled smugly as he took my hand and kissed the back of it.
"as I said, we were married," he said. Alfred was fuming before he took some papers out onto the table.
"then what is the meaning of this?" Alfred asked as I was looking at the paper. My eyes bulged even more.
