Mia Duncan's POV
"look, detective, it was all self-defense. I wasn't killing them. I was defending myself from being raped," I explained to him as he was pushing me onto his car to handcuff me from behind. He grabbed me up as his mouth was near my ears.
"tell that to the judge," he said before shoving me into the back seat of the car.
"where are we going? Please don't tell me we are going back to the station," I pleaded.
"we're not," he said and I relieved for a little before he continued, "we will be going to a higher station," he said and I can feel that blood was draining from my face.
"wait, for what? I did not do anything wrong!," I said to him as I was sending a dagger through the rearview mirror. His green orbs were looking at me before he turned around. My stomach did a fluttery as I can see his beautiful face was in my direction but his cold stare can send someone to oblivion.
