Fauna Kent's POV
"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked as I took a seat in front of him. I don't want to be beside him as I don't know what I would do with my raging hormones whenever I was around. I don't trust myself.
"Well, it just that I have something to tell you, or perhaps talk to you about my job," he said as he was still stroking Americana's fur. That cat was sleeping while purring as he was making that gesture.
I wanted to be that damn cat now.
As I was trying to control myself, I was pushing the mug to him so that he would drink some of the coffee that I made.
"Here, why don't you drink some before you tell me what is on your mind," I said as I was pushing the mug.
"Thanks," he said as he took the mug with his right hand and our hands touched. I looked at him as he looked at me. suddenly, I felt the urge to lick my dry lips. So I licked my lower lips as I was looking down at our hands.
