Camila Almada's POV
Time stood still as I was looking at him. He did not say anything as I was lowering my gun from pointing at him.
"What's the deal?" I asked him. He did not answer it right away before he stood up from his chair. I cannot pull the gun back up. I looked at him as he sighed.
"An arranged marriage with you," he whispered but I can hear it loud and clear.
"But then, they were off because…because they thought you were dead," he said as he was leaning onto the fireplace. His face was distraught as he hated that word. He thought I was dead.
Well, they all were as I was recruited by Alfred and Val. they saw my misery and they wanted me to take revenge and maybe protect another. Nicolas closed his eyes as he continued.
