Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 - My brothers

Arr yes Harry this little shit from oxford dident start off with humble begginings, always getting into troubble with the law and was sent to barrocks as conscription said he should, i would say heas a lucky sod for escaping prison but being sent to this hell hole im not to sure, he doesent talk about his family but in all fairness heas veru handy in a scrap

1 year erlier

Harry was standing infront of the regimental sargent major for punching out a paticular person who took a shine to him from day o e and again over dinner,

"Private do you know why you are standing before me" in a very posh voice that only high authority give when you know you've cocked up, there was along pause "ANSWER THE BLOODY QUESTION YOU GIT!" making him deaf momentarrily came a deffoning roar from the platoon drill sargent who can only be described as saten by the lads, red faced with a mustash that was filed fron a single block of steel and highly trained for the torture he put them through during basic training, just the right amount of nasty in a 5ft.5 shell of a man

"sorry sir i have acted un proprer towards my fellow man" bollocks he was trying to take food off his plate and going through others belongings and it was not the first time eithr the bloke was a twat who got respect by fear and intimidation.

but ofcourse Harry wasent going to grass him up to a supperior officer it would effectively end the trust that the others built up in him, if he did his life wouldent be woth the number assigned to him.

The Rsm looked up at him from his seated position and looked from under his cap directly i to harrys eyes "indeed you have" in the same tone as before "im going to reccomend that learn from this and return to barracks" Harry looked surprised and without hessatation or thought said "but sir why was there no punishment" only to be followd by a very quick but deffoning command from the 5ft.5 saten " SHUT UP"

with both his ears now ringing like the bells of notradame he stood further to attention

"dismissed gentlemen" the 5ft.5 grumpy sargent marched harry out the room double time only to stop him out of earshot of the RSM "dont worry lad that git you smacked in the mess is being bounced, we saw the whole thing and we dont like bullys in our army" harrys face was a picture, unfortunatly for the nose of the guy he knocked out in the mess hall looks like tenddrised beef "keep youre head held high lad youve got protential now get out of my fuckung sight".

Billy

Billy or william if you want to stand on tradition grew up in lancashire on a quiet strech of land where his parents had farmed the land for 6 generations joined the millatary after an argument with his father "youre not joining that godforsaken war i dont care what that say youre exempt from conscription" said his father in a frustrated yet disappointing tone "its not right dad why should i let crap like that happen its our duty as men to stop crap from this from happening in the first place" aggertated as billys point was going on deaf ears, his mother did not want to get involed "sorry im not getting involved" (see told you) billy stormed outside into the june sunlight where the brease had a calming feel to it.

An hour passed and bill was alot calmer, his father walked out onto the decking "i know you have youre head in this son i just feel im going to loose you if you make this decision" he said in a calm tone "im comming back to you, mum, this place" bill was tearing up at the prospect of leaving home and possably breaking an 6 generation cycle where his family tended the land, his dad handed him a rifal "dad serriously" he said in a stunned moment "oh no son we need to get dinner for tonight before you leave becides im still a better shot then you", that evening they set to the wild rabbits on the farm one by one not missing there marks with sergical persision as they squeezed there triggers, they ate well that night as william was leaving the homestead in the morning with a hand shake from his father and hug from his mother he turned only once while walking away to see if they were still watching him, they were, he felt that this was the thing to do and had a sense of pride as he walked down the lane to the village

now i know what youre thinking, has the author done a whole chapter on all 5 guys and . . . . no i dident ile do the rest later on
