After following the angel for a while, Mark reached a giant door about the size of a One-storey building which was guarded by a Cerberus on each of it's sides. Seeing them made Mark a little frightened because of their appearance. The Angel then pushed open the huge gates as if they were made of paper. "Please, go ahead. The gods are waiting for you."she said after turning around.
Mark hesitated for a moment but then stepped forward. Upon entering, he witnessed a blinding light and after it had been cleared, he saw many different figure standing on top of their pedestals looking down on him while there was also a large man with a horned helm, spikes coming out from his back wearing a large cloak to cover his body.
" Mark Richards, we have been awaiting you for quite a while and thinking about what to do about you. " one man standing atop a pedestal said. Mark was shocked to see that person, it was none other than Jesus. He then moved his vision on the other gods and saw that there was an old man with a large muscular body and one eye covered with a silver eye patch, another old guy whose body emitted traces of lightning, a person who had blue skin with a circular blade atop his fingers, a person with the face of an eagle, and many more gods.
He immediately realized that these were the gods and goddesses from every religion. Mark was overwhelmed upon seeing all these gods. "Mark, my boy do you know the reason that we all have gathered here today. "Jesus said. The person wearing the cloak turned around to face Mark and said.
" Young boy, I am sorry for this mishap. This all is happening because of my carelessness. But don't worry child, for I have tried to convince these gods with the best of my abilities. I am Hades, the god of death. I hope you can forgive me. "Hades said. Mark was confused "what mistake? what are you talking about? " He said. Slowly his fear of the gods was going away.
"You see, you weren't supposed to die today, I accidentally checked the name of the person wrong and you ended up dying because of it. " Said Hades. "And so brother convinced all the gods here to give you any one wish you want but you cannot be sent back to your world as you are already dead in that world. I Zeus, apologies for my brother's mistake. " The old guy with lightning running through him said.
" Mark, please take your time and make any wish you want, I Odin the Almighty, and all my fellow gods will definitely fulfilled it if you ask for it" said the old guy wearing the eye patch.
" So, you mean I can seriously ask for anything I want and you all will make that happen? " Mark asked. "Yes, go ahead, make your wish. After all it was a fault on us God's part that you died so we will definitely try to repay you. I Vishnu can make you certain that we gods try to treat everyone eqully and also help those who have suffered. " said the blue skinned god.
This made Mark think about what he wanted to wish for. At this moment, only one thought came to him though, it was of his family. 'How would they survive in that harsh world and will they be able to get over my death... ' These were the thoughts rushing through his mind at the moment.
"Respectful gods, I thought about it and now I'm ready for my wish. " Mark said.
