Skyla Roshanne
After what happened earlier, my parents never let me go. Like literally dragging me everywhere they go and introducing me to their friends and business partners. I can really see the joy in their faces, and I love it. Even though I am not fond of talking to people, I just let them be. I know they're just happy now that they found me. And they want me to be introduced to the whole world as their daughter.
Finally after the meet and greet, we are now sitting here at our table together with my brothers. We're just having small talks when I noticed a man in his tuxedo, approaching my parents. He is so tall, a broad shoulder, a very manly feature that makes him more handsome, and most of all, his eyes that are as cold as ice. His deep penetrating gaze can make you shiver in coldness. In short he is scary but there is this undefined feeling that is pulling me to like this man.
No, no get a grip of yourself Roshanne! He is a monster for pit's sake! No I don't like him, he's just handsome that's why. Yeah yeah that's correct.
If my family can hear my thoughts, they might think I'm crazy. Dammit. I shake my head to ward off those weird thoughts.
"Hey baby are you okay?" My big brother Reese asked me in a worried tone.
"Yeah of course I'm okay big brother. Nothing to worry about." I ensured him and showed him my sweetest smile. He was about to reply to me when a deep and cold voice interrupted us.
"Good evening Mr. & Mrs. Elliot, and happy wedding anniversary. And by the way congratulations on finding your daughter." The man spoke to my parents but I can feel his gaze directed towards me.
"Thank you Mr. Lockheart. I'm glad that you made it." My dad answered him in his serious tone. He spoke like that to others, but when it comes to us, his family, he is the sweetest father. That's what I've noticed since I've known him earlier.
"My pleasure Mr. Elliot." Mr. Lockheart answered and his next question caught me off guard.
"Hello milady, would you let me do the honor of dancing with you tonight?" Mr. Lockheart asked me but I can sense no emotion in it. He is staring at me and I can't help staring back. Those eyes, they look quite familiar. It seems that I've already seen them somewhere else.
Do I know you Mr. Lockheart?
