Carlos just got to the first set of coordinates that led to a small opening to a cave.
"ENERGY CONVERSION!" Carlos screamed at the top of his lungs. All the grass around him turned into a white light and just as every other time it all rushed into him and he felt, amazing.
Giving off a powerful aura Carlos walked into the cave and the second he entered everyhting turned black. When he woke up he had no strength in his body whatsoever and it got to the point were he could bearely (get it?) open his eyes.
"What is this bear, doing here?"
"well, you see, a beer usually sleeps or considers a cave thier own ground so-"
"WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU MEAN BEER!!?!"
"Oh, right sorry an Arkranium bear,"
"That's more I like it,"
Carlos heard all of this but he couldn't open his eyes as he had no feeling in any part of his body but after this small conversation, he could atleast feel some of his face, one of those parts being his eyelids. Carlos openes his eyes and say two humans, one was 7ft3 with broad shoulders while the other was a 5ft2 with a scrawny body. Carlos could've sworn that the Scrawny one looked familiar but he didn't have time to think about it because he now has feeling in his legs and arms, his legs and arms were tied up but this wasnt a problem as he had recently used energy consumption.
Carlos tried holding some restraint so he still had enough energy to fight the two humans. Carlos broke out of the rope with ease and immediately landed on all fours.
*Growwlll* Carlos growled at the two humans before him and ran towards them at a incredible speed. Carlos jumped ontop of the big human and tried scratching him, but he didn't suspect that the scrawny one would suddenly gave off a spine chilling aura. Carlos quickly jumped off the back of the huge man only for an arrow made out of ice to barely miss him.
"OH, SH*T!"
Carlos decided it was either flight or fight and he chose the "flight" option but with a few tricks still up his sleeve he could still manage to free some Xerselfs and escape without a scratch.
The cave was rather small compared to other ones however, there was a area inside the cave that was massive compared to the size of the rest of it and it was pitch black in there but this was advantageous for Carlos as he had a plan. This plan of his was simple, all he had to do was go back into the shadows and free the Xerselfs and leave without the two men being the wiser. It was time to execute this plan of his so he used the remaining energy from his EC (Energy Conversion) to kick the big man into the scrawny one, giving himself some time to run into the shadows. Carlos waited by the entrance of the massive part of the cave for the two men to run in after him so he could go out and free the Xerselfs then run to safety. Roughly two minutes later the two men entered but they were holding something that Carlos has never seen but he didnt think to much of it so he ignored it and waited until the two men were atleast half way into the massive area to unlock the cages.
Everything went according to plan, Carlos freed the Xerselfs giving himself some EXP aswell as some progress on his quest. Carlos exited the cave quickly and quietly.
"Yes, it worked, I'm a genius," Carlos whispered under his breath.
Carlos was suddenly frozen, he thought he got hit by a Frost Arrow but he didn't feel any kind of freezing effect so when he was turned around, that was when he noticed that there was a blue orb keeping him locked in place and this blue orb was connected to the things the two men were holding.
"YEAH, The king may not be happy about the Xerselfs escaping, but he should be satisfied if we bring him the beast that did it,"
Carlos was worried as he did not know what would happen to him if he was taken to this "king" of thiers. The two men put down the block looking objects down and sat down.
"awww, I'm tired,"
"Don't worry you can have some meat when we return to the capital, then maybe you could get some muscle on those scrawny arms of yours,"
"Dude c'mon, you know that I was born with a weak body,"
Carlos was using his time wisely, as the two men were gaving a conversation Carlos was thinking about how he could get iut if this situation, then it struck him. Carlos screamed at the top of his lungs.
"ENERGY CONVERSION" But as he was locked in place it cane out as more of a muffled roar rather. The grass that covered the front of the cave turned into a white light and charged full throttle into Carlos. The Blue orb suddenly changed green, then red and finally exploded.
Carlos was free from the orb but he still wasn't safe as the two men quickly raised to thier feet and while the scrawny one(S) pulled out a long staff that was holstered on his back, the more beefy looking(B) one pulled out two gloves with glowing symbols engraved into the them.
S started whispering something in a language that Carlos still had yet to learn and B started to charge at Carlos in order to keep him under restraint but Carlos wouldn't give up easily as he had a quest to complete. B threw a right jab and then a left jab followed by a uppercut which stopped half way only for him to finish with a kick to the head. Carlos blocked the right jab but rhe left jab was too quick and ended up hitting Carlos right in the head, Carlos saw the uppercut and blockdd appropriately but he unexpectedly stopped mid-way and then grabbed onto his fur and used his own strength and the grip he had on Carlos to move himself in a 360 degree turn, which was slowed at the 180 mark as he had kicked Carlos in the head.
Carlos was laying on the ground with one of his eyes closed and the orher barely being able to see he tried to retreat but was stopped by a sudden Ice Arrow flying at him.
"YEAH, WE DID IT!" S scream
"Damn, I did most of the work, I was the one who had to actually fight him,"
Carlos could no longer see anything, but that was only for the world around him as he could still see the screeen at the top left of his supposedly blind view. The screen stated the following.
