Rena and Raigaki checked the surroundings after the Qlipoth battle between Kazuma and the specter. After they inspected every nook and cranny, they found a cluster of plasma left behind after the suppression of the Qlipoth.
"What is that?" Kazuma asked while trying to stand up.
"This is a fragment of the Qlipoth you just defeated. These drops from Qlipoth have advanced a bit in their rank. Seeing this from the Qlipoth you just fought, it seems the position of the Qlipoth you just defeated is a rank 2 Lilith level Qlipoth. Of course, they don't drop on those Qlipoths that have emerged or have not matured when eliminated, so if you fought a Qlipoth and they don't drop anything similar to this, then that is your answer." Raigaki then started extracting the plasma thing and removed it from the ground.
Kazuma then thought of the first two Qlipoths he defeated. Both of them have not dropped anything so those might have just emerged. No wonder they are not that strong.
"So what are their uses?" Kazuma asked. Perhaps they are some dropped loots that he can sell, he thought.
"Nothing, They are a nuisance and sometimes, they are catalysts for the Qlipoth to come back especially those strong Qlipoths that have already been defeated. They don't serve any purpose aside from being destroyed."
Raigaki then stood up after the extraction and let the plasma thing float right up in the air before he closed his palm and a strong lightning bolt roasted the plasma he extracted and reduced it to nothingness.
Rena chuckled seeing Kazuma's baffled expression. "Don't be too surprised. That is just a normal thing. Also, you don't need to imitate Raigaki on how he eliminates those fragments, you can just burn them or crush them in the pressure of the water, slice them into pieces, or do anything you like to do, they are free to be disposed of."
Kazuma nodded. He still tries to stand up but he has trouble doing so. Rena and Raigaki both grabbed his arms and supported him.
"Ow..." Kazuma groaned in pain as the wound in his arm was touched by Rena.
"Oh no, I am sorry. I forgot you were wounded there from the battle earlier. I will be careful..." Rena felt sorry.
"No worries. I can handle it..." Kazuma smiled despite the pain. He managed to endure it earlier due to the heat of the battle but now that the fight is over, he can feel the pain pulsing every now and then.
"It's best if we carry Kazuma to the school nurse. Rain should be there and will be willing to heal you up and examine you as well. It's best to keep yourself healthy to avoid getting beaten up by tricks from the Qlipoth entities."
"I will do better next time."
"Haha, no worries, Malkuth Trainee. Despite this being your third battle, I can see that you have a knack for this kind of thing. I must admit that you are already capable of doing much better than me compared to myself back when I was still a Malkuth Trainee so be proud of what you have done and emerging as the winner in the battle."
Raigaki then turned to look at Rena. "We should teleport straight to the secret room in the infirmary, that way, no one would see Kazuma being wounded right now."
Rena nodded and she swiped her hand in the air, opening up some kind of portal door before them. Although Kazuma was not sure what it was before he could say anything, the three of them entered what Rena conjured and reemerged inside a bright room. From the looks of it, it seems to be a room from the infirmary.
Raigaki peeked into the door glass to check whether there was anyone else there besides them. Aside from Rain, no one else is there. Seeing the coast is clear, Raigaki and Rena help Kazuma walk out of the room.
Rain already noticed their presence and glanced at the three of them before stopping on Kazuma.
"Looks like he got banged up real hard huh?" Rain silently made hand gestures to bring Kazuma to the bed and lay him down there.
"Yep. He fought a Lilith-level Qlipoth that advanced to level 2 already. He managed to emerge victorious, while only suffering a few wounds in his body and an exhausted mana reserves," Raigaki explained.
"Oh? That's pretty cool. I didn't know that you were that capable, Kazuma!" Rain smiled as she inspected the wounds on his arm.
"Haha, I just don't want to die so I did my best to ensure I won't die," Kazuma straightfully said.
"It's a good mindset since the Qlipoth are always dangerous but don't keep that mindset permanent."
Rain moved her fingers a bit on Kazuma's wound and inspected it. "It's not that deep and there are no anomalies from his wounds aside from the fact that it is an open wound and is bleeding. One little trick is fine for that, yes?"
Rain then caresses the wounded part of his arm with her soft hands. Kazuma braced himself for pain since it stings when Rena touched it before but he frowned when nothing happened and Rain just caressed his arm. Then, he felt that his sleeves returned to normal and the cuts were gone.
"Alright. Next time, be careful, okay? After all, if you are too wounded, you are not going to be efficient enough in a fight. Then, have a rest there. I will send a letter to your teachers there that you don't feel so well and you need to rest. I will send you the things you might have missed in the process."
"Ah, no need for that..." Kazuma wanted to decline but Rain shook her head.
"Nope. Rest there. Don't be reckless alright? Recover the lost mana you have and only then will I allow you to leave. Until then, I will send an exemption letter for you to ensure that you can properly rest."
Although Kazuma couldn't understand what is the point, he decided to go along with it. After all, he needed all the energy and mana that was lost later that evening. He will have to fight and discover some enemies that he has yet to see before.
Rena and Raigaki bid farewell to Kazuma after the session.
"We will be going back to our respective classes now. Of course, if there is an issue or anything odd, make sure to chat with us on the designated group chat, alright?" Rena reminded Kazuma.
Kazuma nodded and the two left. Rain smiled and tapped on Kazuma's shoulder. "Rest well and good work today, Trainee."
