Upon catching her breath, she glared at the man who smirked at her with an evil glint in his eyes. She kept her eyes on him as he walked toward her; all the while thinking about how to escape from this place.
Her eyes that were on the man's earlier looked toward the right at the little uneven piece of wood on the wall and the man's eyes followed her gaze. When she moved toward it, the man immediately thought that she was trying to get to a weapon and he moved to the right.
"Trick!" thought Xiao Lei before she immediately ran into her room.
The bald man cursed and chased after her only to come face to face with the end of a gun.
Xiao Lei grinned as she watched fear flitted through the bald man's eyes. "That was f*cking painful, you know?"
BANG!
Without any warning, she shot him right on the left foot.
"F*CK!" the man cursed loudly as he jumped around holding his injured left foot.
