Instead of being offended, Fan Shaohang merely chuckled as if he were hearing a joke.
"Well... I'm here to do something," Fan Shaohang said with a smile as he stood up. Because of his age, it took him a while to stand up, just so that his blood pressure wouldn't rise too fast. "I'm here to give you something."
"What?" Xiao Lei narrowed her eyes at him.
Fan Shaohang picked up the bag next to him and walked to Xiao Lei. He then gave her the bag and said, "Happy Birthday..."
"My birthday is not till..." Xiao Lei frowned as she looked at the bag. She then shook her head and asked, "How did you know?"
"You just told me," Fan Shaohang said with a smile. He placed the bag on Xiao Lei's makeup table before saying, "I'd celebrate with you on the day itself, but I doubt you'd want me there. And I won't be here for the next couple of days, so I'm leaving this present with you first."
Xiao Lei did not know what to say other than "Thank You".
