A few hours later, Xiao Lei and Han Ye were heading back to Du Corporation. A file was placed neatly on Xiao Lei's lap, and there was an elated expression on her face as she hummed along to the song "Radioactive".
Han Ye could not help but smile whenever he looked at her. She had been so depressed lately, so he was glad that something good could come out of this. He much preferred to see her smiling and eating, even bullying him. Anything would be better than seeing her frowning and depressed.
"You were really good just now," Han Ye said suddenly, upon which Xiao Lei looked at him with a smug expression, as if to say, "Of course I'm good!"
The judges from the audition earlier were really pleased with her performance. She performed one of the critical scenes in the story, where her character had just lost someone, and her expressions and the way she delivered her lines were so on point that it made some of the judges tear up.
