"Shut up!" Mrs. Lim snapped after slapping the man. "How dare you steal from me and watched me malign a poor woman!"
His eyes went wide while his face turned red from anger and embarrassment. He then pleaded, "But you said!"
"Get out of my face! You disgust me!" Mrs. Lim sneered. She then looked at the nearby members of the staff and snapped, "Take this thief away! I'll decide what to do with him later!"
Xiao Lei scoffed and muttered under her breath, "What a joke."
"Typical," Han Ye replied in a soft voice that only Xiao Lei could hear. He saw Angela Zhang nearby. When their eyes met, she no longer looked away shyly like before. She stared at him with eyes that were filled with anger.
