Two weeks later,
Xiao Lei and Han Ye were dressed in black as they headed toward City F, where Xiao Lei's parents were buried at a private cemetery.
The entire journey, Xiao Lei did not talk much to Han Ye. There were a lot of things in her mind, such as whether she would be able to control herself later, especially if she was to see her uncle and his family there.
She was also worried about the implication of being seen by them. Would they be able to recognize her, and if they did, what would they do?
Han Ye had told her that a lot of people would be there, and these people not only included the friends of Xiao Lei's parents, but some of the people that they worked with previously would be there as well.
A lot of them had come back from overseas, where they were now based at, just to pay respect to Xiao Lei's parents.
